Chapter 24 Engagement Invitation?

“You’ll regret this later.”

Giselle laid in her bed, eyes absentmindedly staring at the ceiling as Ezra’s words replayed in her mind.

Recollections of her drunken actions were rapidly coming back to her, flooding into her head and giving her zero time to properly regret anything.

Another dull pain shut through her head and the brunette reached her hand up, using her fingers to massage her temple as she sighed through her nose.

How was she going to face Ezra?

That has been the one question she’s been pondering after waking up.

Alcohol was a bastard, and Giselle decided she’d had her own fair share of mishaps with it, enough to teach her a good lesson.

Thirty minutes or so had passed since she woke up, but all the brunette did was stare at the ceiling of her room, unmoving.

“Giselle Cornwell, what have you done this time around?” Giselle muttered to herself, finally turning over for the first time since she had woken up.
