Zac’s POV

I slumped into the couch in my office, it’s been a long day. I haven’t had time for myself these past few days. The pack has so many things to do this week. I didn’t want to show it but I feel tense over what might happen soon.

“Go away Adrian.” I say after I hear a knock from my door. I knew it was Adrian, it was only him that had the right to knock at this time.

“Your phone.” He said.

“Come in.” I said while I was massaging my temples. Hailey Would have cured of my headache is she was here. I missed her.

“Do I have any missed calls? I don’t want any distractions right now. I need to take a nap, and I will resume my work.”

“You have missed calls from Sapphire, a lot of them.” He said. I quickly went to him and grabbed the phone.

“Why didn’t you tell me Adrian? You never do anything right.” I furrowed my eyebrows.

“Sorry. You said you didn’t want to get distracted—”

“My wife is not a distraction. She’s my wife. What if something happened to her?” I said between gritted teeth
