Chapter 54: I'm Juliet, the new ‘secretary’

Eranthe said coolly, and the air suddenly became strangely quiet.

She glanced at Colin with a strange expression, as if confirming whether her thoughts were correct.

However, the man just slightly opened his thin lips, looking disdainful. "You're quite confident."

Eranthe couldn't save face at once, stood up abruptly, and said, "I'm going to bed."

She walked with big strides, making loud footsteps, returned to the bedroom, lifted the quilt, and went under it.

After a while, the door was finally opened, a tall figure walked in, closed the door while at it, and the bed sank down. Clearly, both of them had used the same shower gel, but Eranthe felt that his scent was different from hers.

Colin remained still, and Eranthe breathed a sigh of relief. She closed her eyes, ready to enter the dreamland. After a while, a pair of long arms hooked around her waist, pulling her over, and legs followed suit, pressing down on her until she couldn't breathe.

"I'm uncomfortable sleeping like this!"
