The young Jackson clenched his fists tightly when he saw his father kissing another woman. He endured what he saw and kept staring at the crooked door.

“Thank you for your support, Vandolf. Jacob will be happy about this. He will be able to join them on their field trip,” Josefina said, Jacob’s mother.

“It’s my responsibility, Josie. I missed your presence,” Don Vandolf said in a flirtful way while tucking Josefina’s hair behind her ears. He gently caressed Josefina’s cheeks and kissed her quickly. “As long as Jacob needs something, don’t hesitate to come to me. Jacob is also my son. We should share responsibility. Don’t stress yourself. I know and you know that what you earn from selling will never be enough. Money! That’s all I can give to our son. Don’t deny him anymore,” Don Vandolf said sincerely.
