Beautiful and seductive? Why does it feel like I've just heard these words from him?

"What!" I questioned to make sure I wouldn't blush over an imagined incident.

"Cornelia, you're gorgeous." But this time, he claimed, he wasn't gazing at me.

I could feel the heat. I couldn't help but blush as redness appeared in my cheek and butterflies threatened to appear in my stomach.

I find it hard to believe that he just complimented me and that a hot guy like him could make a girl like me relax.
