Inevitably, as if to represent the meaning of the exclamation, Zeva was really surprised. Moreover, seeing who the figure standing in front of her was now.

"Zero," said Zeva.

Yes, the person who gave the surprise was Zero.

"What are you doing here? Why didn't you tell me first?" point Zeva, having managed to control her shock.

"It's the rules of giving a surprise. No one wants to give a surprise but tell the target beforehand," said Zero.

"Surprise for what? It's not my birthday anymore," said Zeva, who still didn't understand the surprise Zero meant.

"Is it true that a surprise should only be addressed to the person who is having a birthday? No, right? If we really want to give a surprise, then we can give it anytime. Especially, for the one who we love," said Zero.

"So, where's the surprise?" Zeva asked again.

"How could you still ask where it is? It's obvious the surprise is right in front of your eyes. I'm the surprise," replied Zero.

"Oh, you mean that you are the surprise. I thought there was another surprise," replied Zeva.

"How come you don't look that excited? What surprises are you expecting? Is it just me who is in front of you now, doesn't meet the criteria of surprise for you?" said Zero.

Hearing Zero's comment, Zeva immediately thought, "Yes, of course, it meets the surprise criteria for me. I've been waiting for the chat since earlier, let alone the person."

"Yeah, it's not like that. I didn't expect you to come here all of a sudden. I thought you were having fun, where did you go until there was no notification from you," said Zeva.

Hearing Zeva's reply and the tone of her voice, made Zero widen his smile. Meanwhile, seeing Zero's reaction, made Zeva frown.

Before Zeva asked, Zero spoke first, "Oh, you must have been waiting for a chat from me."

Zeva wanted to deny it, but Zero went back to gripping Zeva first.

"You must still miss me, right? Yes, I know why, I'm a person who likes to be missed by people."

Again Zeva wanted to deny it, but this time the denial did not come out of Zeva's mouth because suddenly Zero handed her a bouquet of Lily flowers.

"Here, for you. I didn't come here with my bare hands, really," said Zero.

Now Zeva just found out why Zero had put his hands behind his back, similar to a resting pose, but a lazy version.

"I know you like maple leaves, but that doesn't mean I have to give you a bouquet of maple leaves too, right? After all, maple leaves are in season, just take them under the tree," continued Zero.

"Is it really that I have to replace it with a bouquet of maple leaves first, then do you want to take it?" asked Zero, when Zeva never received a bouquet of flowers from him.

As if aware of Zero's insinuation, only then did Zeva move her hand to accept the bouquet of flowers from Zero.

"Thank you," said Zeva.

"Anytime, my dear," replied Zero with a big smile showing his teeth.

Again Zero used the call 'my dear' to Zeva, which again made Zeva's cheeks heat up.

Before Zero noticed the change in Zeva's cheeks, Zeva hastily said, "Is that so, right? I'll go in first, okay? Good night."

Zeva said it without looking at Zero. As soon as she finished her sentence, Zeva immediately turned around, without waiting for Zero's response.

However, before Zeva entered, Zero first held Zeva's arm. Zeva couldn't help but look back at Zero.

"I haven't confirmed for you to come in, you know," said Zero.

"What are you going to do again? I received a surprise and the flowers. And again, it's late at night," said Zeva.

"Did you forget that tomorrow I have to go back to Indonesia?" said Zero, which brought Zeva back to her senses about his return the next day.

"No, I remember it," replied Zeva, trying to speak in a normal tone. Because honestly, Zeva felt bad when she remembered that tomorrow she couldn't see Zero again.

"So, what does that have to do with me going in now with your coming back tomorrow?" Zeva asked back.

"I want to spend the rest of my time here with you," said Zero.

"Don't you know that it's late at night? Where are you going anyway, at this time of night?" said Zeva.

"If you really wanted to spend time with me, why didn't you come here earlier? Why did you have to come at this late hour?" continued Zeva.

"Because I had to wait for Liora to sleep first. If she knows I'm gone, she definitely doesn't want to stay alone," said Zero.

"Then, if Liora suddenly wakes up looking for you, but you're not there, what will it be?" asked Zeva.

"Emm…." Zero looked confused about what to answer.

From this Zeva could judge that Zero actually couldn't bear to leave Liora alone at the inn. After spending time with the three of them, Zeva could see and feel that Liora seemed to be Zero's top priority.

Yes, there is nothing wrong with that, because Liora is Zero's sister. Moreover, considering Liora's condition is not completely healthy, Zeva can understand it.

"Well, go back there. It would be a shame if Liora is looking for you. Anyway, you better get rest early. Tomorrow's flight is in the morning, right?" Zeva said.

"Okay, then. But… I want you to take me to the airport tomorrow morning. Deals?" Zero stretched out his hand intending to make a deal with Zeva.

After thinking for a long time, Zeva finally said, "Deal."

***

As soon as she got out of the taxi, Zeva immediately ran into the airport. Zeva realized she was late, and now she didn't know whether Zero had left or not.

Zeva was late not because she woke up late, but because she had spent a lot of time thinking about whether she should go to the airport or not. So far, Zeva has avoided dropping people off at the airport like this. Yes, because Zeva doesn't like a farewell.

In Zeva's mind, sending someone away was the same as celebrating farewell. As for Zeva, the farewell was not to be celebrated. Where there is no happy farewell.

Therefore, when Gamma and Runa decided to return to Indonesia, Zeva did not accompany them to the airport.

However, considering that last night she had already promised Zero, Zeva finally decided to fulfill her promise to take Zero to the airport. Shouldn't that promise be kept?

In a state that was quite breathless, Zeva stopped and followed her gaze to look for Zero's figure. It didn't take a long time, Zeva could see that Zero was about to enter the boarding gate. Zeva reflexively shouted, "Zero."

Sensing someone calling, Zero turned to the source of the voice. As soon as he saw Zeva's figure, Zero immediately ran to Zeva and immediately hugged her tightly.

"I thought you wouldn't come," whispered Zero.

"Sorry, I'm late," said Zeva.

Right after Zeva said it, suddenly there was an announcement of the boarding for passengers on flights to Indonesia. That means Zero must immediately enter the gate.

Zero also released his arm to Zeva. Instantly Zeva's feelings sank because she was not ready to let Zero go. So Zeva chose to just look down, not wanting to look at Zero.

Then, suddenly Zero switched to holding Zeva's hands and said, "Hey, please look at me for a second."

Inevitably, Zeva looked at Zero. Because Zeva wasn't ready to hear farewell from Zero, Zeva first said, "Safe flight."

And Zero replied, "Thanks. And… I want you to take good care of yourself."

Zeva immediately burst into tears. She wanted so badly to whine to ask Zero to stay here with her. However, she again realized that she had no right to it.

Then, suddenly from a distance, Liora shouted, which made Zero and Zeva together turn to look at the source of the voice, "Zero, let's hurry. We'll miss our flight later."

"I have to go now. Wait for me, I'll be back soon," Zero said to Zeva, who had let go of Zeva's hand.

Zeva only responded with a nod, because she didn't want Zero to hear her hoarse voice, which was holding back her tears from crying.

Only a split second later, Zeva was surprised by Zero's sudden kiss on the forehead. Zeva instantly froze on the spot.

Zeva regained her senses when she heard Zero's voice which turned out to be far from her while walking back and waving at her, "See you, my dear Zeva."

"Wait a moment, Dear. I need to take care of Liora for a bit," Zero said reluctantly as he let go of his embrace with Zeva. "Come on, get in the car. You go home first with the driver. I'll follow later. I still have something to discuss with Zeva." "No. How could you be so heartless, Brother? Letting me go home alone? I don’t want to be by myself. I’m scared," Liora refused Zero’s idea. "You won’t be alone, Liora. Auntie is there," Zero reminded her, as if Liora had forgotten. "No, I don’t want to. Auntie is probably already asleep, so I’d still be alone," Liora insisted. "How is it any different if I’m there? You’d still be alone in your room," Zero countered. "But you can stay with me while I sleep," Liora replied confidently. "Auntie can stay with you too, then," Zero offered a solution. "No, that would feel weird. It’s always been you who stays with me," Liora remained firm. "Liora, please, learn to be independent. Just pretend I’m out of town like usual," Zero tried to

“So, he wanna stay here?”“He said so. But… I don’t know.”“Do you doubt him?”“Umm… I just think it’s too forced.”“You’re the one forcing him to stay here?”“Of course not. In fact, I asked him to really think about it through carefully before deciding. But… he’s adamant about staying here. He said it’s because he’s worried about me being alone in a foreign country. But I’ve been here for years.” For once, Zeva spoke this much to Sky.“Years, huh? It’s only been two years, Zev. If this were a job application, you’d still count as a fresh graduate or someone with no experience.” Even though Sky was quite amazed that Zeva was opening up to him again, he didn’t want to waste this moment. So, Sky tried to respond with his usual lame jokes.“Well, what matters is it’s more than a year. Besides, survival skills are honed from birth, not just since we first set foot in a foreign land,” Zeva replied.“But… shouldn’t you be happy?”“Yeah, I’m happy. But… if it’s too forced, I disagree.”“Hmm

"Dear, please look at me! It’ll only be a moment. I promise I’ll come back and stay here."“Don’t make promises about uncertain things,” replied Zeva, without taking her eyes off the laptop screen.“Okay, I’ll prove it. But… do you not want to take me to the airport?”Zeva didn’t respond, but she was still focused on her laptop.“Dear, please, don’t ignore me. I’m about to board a plane, you know. If something happens while I’m on the plane, this might be our last moment together.”Zeva immediately stopped what she was doing, then directed her gaze towards Zero, giving him a sharp look and saying, “Just seconds ago, you said you’d prove it, but now you’re already thinking about leaving me?”“Who said I want to leave you, Dear? It’s quite the opposite. I want to be with you 24/7,” retorted Zero.“If you don’t intend to leave, why are you hoping that something bad happens to the plane you’re on?” Zeva demanded.“That’s not what I meant, Dear. I was just reminding you that unexpected thi

“Where is he? Turn on the camera!” A deep male voice filled Zeva’s quiet room.“Ugh... what’s up with you, Bro? It’s still super early and you’re already mad.” Yes, it was Gamma who called Zeva early in the morning.“I want to see if your boyfriend is still fully dressed or not.” Gamma couldn’t trust any man around Zeva, especially since the two of them were under the same roof—alone, without anyone else.“Well, if you want to see, call Zero directly on his number. Why are you calling me? If you call me, I have to go downstairs and check his room,” Zeva complained.“So, you’re really staying in separate rooms?” Gamma still wanted a valid confirmation.“Of course. Your room is empty, too. Why? Didn’t Zero already ask for permission directly from you to borrow it?”“That Nol guy really knows how to keep his defenses up,” Gamma said, translating Zero’s name to its Indonesian meaning.“Oh right, I have to wake up Zero. We planned to go jogging this morning. Bye, Bro, Sis Runa.” Zeva abrup

"Wah, this couple needs more briefing," Zeva commented after seeing the photo results on her camera. Zeva approached her clients. "Finished, Zev?" the male client asked when Zeva was in front of him. "We need to talk," Zeva said. "Okay, let's go!" responded the male client. "Where to? Let's talk here to save time," Zeva replied. "Oh, okay. Rin, you just rest there, alright?" the male client instructed his partner, pointing to one of the park benches about 18 meters away from where they stood. "Rin? Why suddenly call me by my name?" the girl questioned. "Well, your name is Ririn. Nothing wrong with that," the guy replied. "Well, it's not wrong. But usually, you call me 'Beib,'" Ririn said. "Why, though? It's such a trivial matter to fuss about," the guy remarked. "For you, maybe it's trivial. Fine, from now on, I'll call you by your name," Ririn replied. "Okay, Rama. You just continue with your business. I'm going back to the hotel," Ririn continued and immediately left. "W

"You just finished getting dental veneers?" "Huh? Why are you suddenly asking that?" The confusion was evident on Zero's forehead in response to Zeva's question. "Because it's unusual for you to immediately show off your teeth like that." "Unusual? How am I usually then?" Zero felt that the expression he showed was not something rare. "Usually, you flaunt your pillow face. Always sleepy." "Oh, hehe. It's called hard work like a horse, Dear. I have to stay up late." "Working so hard that you forget to sleep, and what do you hope for in the end? Early aging?" Zeva pointed out. "Well, not like that, Dear. I work hard like this for you, you know." "For me? Have I ever asked you to provide for me? No, I've never asked for anything from you," Zeva said, refusing to accept Zero's statement. "Well, not really, Dear. But... I work hard to prepare to provide for you in the future." "You want to turn me into a substitute for a nursing home?" "Well, what's the connection with a nursing
