“He is right here.” A voice answers for him.
I walk into the room, slowly. “Grandma Aggie?”
She sits on the couch, holding the baby in her arms. “I came to surprise my grandchildren and I was the one who got a surprise. I met your young man here and your child. I can't believe you kept this from me, young lady. I know I have been out of touch for a bit now, but I am still your grandmother!” She admonishes me. "You should have told me!"
“What?” Everyone exclaims in unison. There expressions show just how shocked they are by my words. “That is not possible.” Cash says quietly. He is denying seeing her? Why would he lie about that if he has nothing to hide? Could he somehow be involved? I feel a rush of fear but I push it away. No. There is no way. I don't look at Cash, instead turning to Maddy. “I know what I saw. It was Cash's face that flashed through my memories. I mean, her memories."
Aria A few days later I am laying in my bed listening to music, trying to calm myself down. The last few nights have been hard for me, adjusting to the baby's feeding schedule. I have been getting about four hours of sleep a night. I am beginning to feel a little stir crazy from days of spending almost every waking moment in my room, trying to avoid seeing Cash. Maddy mentioned last night that Cash had some errands to run today so that I would be alone most of the day so I have decided to venture out and cook a b
I look up to find myself staring straight into his intensely hypnotic green eyes. He is watching me intently and I find myself becoming lost in his gaze. “I never meant to imply anything rude or unsavory about you. I would never 'slut-shame' you, as you called it. The remark I made was out of line and I should not have said it. ai had not right.” I nod mutely up at him, as if I have suddenly lost the ability to talk. He smiles slightly at me. “I am sorry. Sorry for everything that I have said and for how I have acted over the last few days. For being a stupid, passive-aggressive typical guy.”
I wake up the next morning to find my legs tangled up with Cash's and my shirt raised up my body until it is just barely covering my breasts. My head is on Cash's shoulder with my hands laying on his bare chest. His firm, sexy chest. His hand rests on my almost bare hip, firm fingers gripping the smooth skin. His other hand is under me, curling around my bare rib cage, just inches from my exposed nipple. I lay still, trying really hard not to distrub him. I don't want to wake him up just yet. I like watching him sleep. He looks so peaceful and beautiful. Suddenly a thought occurs to me.. I don't see the baby anymore and I begin to freak out. I sit up suddenly and look around in a blind pani
Aria “Calm down.” Cash tells me. “Just get dressed. Quickly.” He eases out of me but I have no time to enjoy the feeling because in a flash he is off of me. He is standing completely dressed by the crib as I pull on my tee shirt. I tug it over my head then quickly grab my panties, pulling them on. I hop back in the bed and pull the covers up to my chin. “Come in.” I say as normally as I can manage.
He nods. “Good.” He opens the door and leaves, giving me a small wave from the porch. I wave back before I shut the door behind him. I go find Mason and the two of us head to the living room to watch a movie. After the first movie, I go to change and feed Wren. When I come back Halona and Moira have joined Mason. I curl up between him and Halona on the couch while Moira hugs the baby. The four of us spend the rest of the day eating junk food and watching movies. After a dinner of fried chicken, buttery mashed potatoes, green bea
AriaSometime in the night I hear banging on my front door. I check my phone to see the time. I see thirteen missed calls and texts on my phone. Beside me Cash stirs. “What's happening?” Before I can answer I hear my name shouted through the house and the sound of feet running up the stairs. “Aria!”
Aria “Aria!” Cash pulls me in his arms while Mason grabs the phone that I dropped in the snow. “What's going on?” He asks into the phone. He listens for a minute before he speaks. “We are in the woods.” I listen as he gives them directions. Then he hangs up the phone, sliding it into my pocket. They give me a little time to compose myself before the three of us set off. Mason sniffs again, turning to his right. Me and Cash walk along behind him. He sniffs the air again,
Moira I rush over to my sister and take her hands in mine. “How long have you been in labor for?” “I don't know. I felt odd all day, with a few twinges here and there, but it wasn't until my wtaer broke a few minutes ago that I actually felt a painful contraction.” She tells me. “Thanatos, get out your phone.”
Halona My husband comes up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist, his hands resting on my huge rounded belly. I think it is odd how huge I am, like double the size of Aria and Moira, but Moira and Aggie swear that it is normal. That all women and pregnancies are different. Grimm said that I should listen to Moira, so I am trying to. He thinks that she knows everything and I tend to just roll my eyes and go along with it. “Since we are the ones hosting the meal, we
Seven Years Later Madoc “Come on, honey! We are going to be late! You know how your sister gets if we keep her waiting! We needed to leave like five minutes ago!” “I will be right there! Just give me one more minute!” I call back. I am almost done. I know that I have been here a little lon
Moira I stare in equal parts horror and amazement at my sister as she stands behind Castiel's body, holding the bloody sword. It doesn't quite feel real to me at the moment, the fact that it is all over. This all seems like a dream. But I can feel the heat from the fire, that soreads across the field. I can smell the metallic scent of blood that overpowers the air. I know this is real, but it just seems too good to be true. We finally have our lives back. No more lo
Madoc “Maddy!” I look at Moira as she falls to her knees beside me where I kneel on the ground with Ellie in my ams. Tears fill my eyes as turn to face my sister. My sister that I really need to help me. “Sh- she stopped breathing.I can't get her.. to breathe.” Moira touches Ellie's hand, taking it in hers an
Moira I feel a hand catch mine and tug, pulling me behind them as they run. I stumble as I try to keep up with the long stide. It takes me a moment to realize that it is Cash that is pulling me. “Hey! What is going on?” “Raf needs help.” My heart stops in my chest and
Moira We all turn to find Castiel standing a few hundred yards away from us with an evil grin on his handsome face. He is halfway down the hill that we just came down. Was he behind us the whole time or did he get her so quickly using magical means? Also, where is the rest of his entourage? Maddy moves forward, pushing me and Moira behind him. As he has always done. Cash quickly joins him, then Raf and Grimm. I reach for Ellie's h
Halona Saying our goodbyes was much harder than I thought it would be. I hugged each of the children goodbye, then I hugged my grandmother, my nephew and then Aria. I saw the tears in her eyes as she stood there, watching us all prepare to leave. No one was saying what we were all thinking. That it could have been our last goodbye. I watched as each of our siblings said there goodbyes
Aria My house is bursting at the seams with people. Mason, Landry and Grimm have brought all the people who volunteered to help us over to meet us. Things are getting really bad over in the Seven Regions. Castiel is terrorizing everyone. Hypnos went over there to ready the troops, but came back and told us that we need to go. It's time. The final battle, as Halona has dubbed it. We've all taken to calling it that, without actuall
