Lock her up.

Rain’s POV.

I wake up with a startling gasp, panting as my heart pulsates. My wide eyes take in my room.

Fuck, I feel like something strange happened here last night.

Omigod, I sigh at the banging in my head. It usually happens whenever I wake up the way I just did.

I need a drink of water, I whisper inwardly to myself. Pulling the duvet aside, I cast my legs on the floor.

When I rise up, I stretch my back, bones cracking at the impact. I was just about to move into the bathroom when my eyes closed in on a clump of sand on the floor.

“What?” I bite out, feeling a rising tremble in my knees. I crouch low and scoop up the sand. My fingers smear over it and one thought races through my mind.

“Someone was in here last night.” I gasp, wondering who. If it was Nadia she must have woken me up when she came into the room. Besides, Nadia’s shoes are always spotless. She never leaves a dent.

Nadia is out of the question now. It has to be someone else, but who?
