Chapter Nineteen

Reese’s POV

Julian’s face told Reese everything she needed to know with regards to her looks. His eyes had widened and then he’d smiled when the front door slid open and she stepped out into the foyer.

“I’ll take that as a sign that I look decent enough,” Reese said.

“More than decent. You look really beautiful, Luna.”

Reese smiled then, a genuine smile as they walked into the elevator with her arm in Julian’s arm. Her father was waiting for them in the foyer on the ground floor and he smiled broadly when he saw her for the first time.

His eyes filled with tears as he kissed her cheek and tucked her arm into his. “You look magnificent, just like I knew you would. You are a special woman, Reese, and I know that the life you build for yourself here with Troy, will be filled with happiness, adventure and eventually love. I trust that he will care for you.”
