Author's POV.

They released each other's hands and smiled not only for their partnership but because of their thoughts which were more exciting.

Dylan knew he was poisoning Alpha Trent and that was enough to eliminate him but he didn't want Alpha Trent to die with a good name. That would not be beneficial to him because he was a stranger to the pack and there was Beta Kyle who could become the Alpha.

Dylan needed allies by his side and luckily for him, he met Elder Sawyer who was an insider and could help him attain his goals.

The plan he was having seemed bigger than what he had plotted earlier, this was going to be fun and he was certain of that.

"We should start planning immediately before Trent ends up getting rid of all the elders. We had a betrayer and snitch in our midst and he gave information to Trent who had become a thorn in our flesh" Elder Sawyer said and they began walking out of the compound.

They were actually in the house of Dylan's late parents, the
