Angelina’s POV

Saying goodbye to Diana and April was soul destroying. Even though they both withheld the truth from me and I was so mad at them at first, I forgave them and shifted all my blame on Lucas instead.

“Don’t abandon training okay? Maybe David can help you improve until it’s safe for you to enroll in Fairbanks, he seemed pretty decent” I said to her as I held her hands softly.

She nodded her head and I saw her tears start to descend down her face. I couldn’t stand to see her crying like this, so I hugged her instead.

She whispered in my ear regretfully “I’m so sorry I hid the truth from you, Angelina. I really liked you like a sister and hurting you was the last thing that I wanted to do to you”

“I know April, I forgive you and I love you just like a real sister if I ever had one” I said back softly in her ear as well.

“You do, you have me Angelina. Even if we don’t end up seeing each other again, you’ll always have a sister here” she said emotionally.
