It didn't take long -thank god- till I swooped up a dress. Just a short navy blue dress that made my olive skin-pop. Even with the casual look, I went for, mom insisted on going all out. She yanked a floor-length sheer black dress, under it was a smaller black dress to keep the goods hidden. We both pull on some flats and amble out of the store. Mom had a skip in her step. I don't know if it was due to Zane or if she thinks that because we have a Luna, the Alpha might leave me alone. I already knew that statement was false. We climbed in the car and waited for Zane who was still in the store paying for our outfits. I did mom's make up, though she didn't use it often she used it for "special occasions." Zane walked out of the store, still putting his card int
I sprinted toward my house, not caring what I looked like or who was starring. I wobbled on my feet and tried to find the right sidewalk to run on. I skipped to a stop, my breathing coming out in heavy pants. I stabled myself against my knees. I scan around the darkness, finding no one. I sigh, but my sigh was early lived. A warm hand laid on my back in a comforting manner. Shocks electrify through me, making me jump up and away from whoever had touched me. Stumbling, I fall onto a building. I sobered up when I heard the dark chuckle fill the air. When I could finally see straight, I stared at the person who had attacked Alpha Kane. I raised a brow, trying to cover up for the fact that my entire body was vibrating in fear.
My mom's jaw unhinged and dropped in surprise, Zane froze solid with his eyes wide. I blushed at their reactions and hid behind his arm from their stares. Mom's eyes hit me with a tsunami behind her bottom lid, her green eyes asking for confirmation. I nodded and speaker when he reached down to place a kiss to the top of my head. I looked up, his eyes glowing in the dimly lit room. I listened to mom choke on a sob and Zane shushed her silently. Eli smiled down at me and spoke to my mother without lifting his gaze."I'm plannin
Without haste, I glanced up under the cold sweat of my bangs. His eyes were fogged over, obviously having a conversation with his wolf. His body was slightly vibrating and his fist were clenched, knuckles white as bone. I looked away when his breathing stopped, knowing he was coming too. From my peripheral vision, I saw his eyes turn back to their pools of color. But they weren't something I recognized, instead of the sweet glistening they normally held, now they were filled with a raging inferno. His gaze snapped down to me, causing me to flinch and focus on the wall across from us.
She moved away from me, sitting back on the bed with a flustered sigh. I sat up next to her, wiping away the sweat she had missed on my brow and wiping it off on my jeans. She looked at the clock and it made me look too. 8 am. I glance at her, her eyes fogged over. I couldn't see what color her eyes changed to due to the dark. She had talked to her wolf in front of me before, but I guess I just never looked."So, what do you do for fun 'round here?" Her conversation was cut short and she looked over at me, her eyes full
As we ran side by side-well he had to trot to not take off in front of me- I couldn't keep my mind still. Millions of thoughts ran through my brain, so fast I couldn't stop to think about even one. I don't even remember running like I had been put on autopilot. So caught up in my thoughts, I didn't even have the chance to smell him before he was tackling me. Larkin turned with a surprised bark and then let out a long snarl. Alpha Kane towered over me with a sick grin, growling through his saliva dripping fangs, his eyes roasting in flames. I bared my neck in submission, an unbreakable habit. Larkin's growl echoed off the trees, causing Kane and I to look over. Larkin seethed, his head low to the ground. So low that his heavy breaths disturbed the dust on the
"Stories?"She looked up with a small smile, her eyes far away."My mother used to tell incredible stories about her and my father. All mates actually. When I was young. I believed every word she said, but as I grew up, I realized how impossible it could be. How ridiculous it sounded. She would say how my dad would heal the smallest of her wounds by kissing them. He hated her having scars so he would heal them as soon as possible. I guess he would actually lick them. Kiss
Before I even had time to react, Coral was at my side. A spiral of water shot up from the lake and wrapped around her glistening tail. She floated beside me. I stared at the water, peeking over the cliff and down at the lake. The water didn't seem phased by this. Fish swam within the spiral. I looked back at her furious face with many questions, but she didn't give me time to ask any. I followed her gaze to the group of wolves, all their jaws dropped in shock. It's not every day you see one of the rarest creatures on th
I looked up quickly to find a small cottage sitting in a clearing. Vines crept up its dark wooden walls. Flowers bloomed in front of the aged windows that were blocked off by red curtains from the inside. A stone path weaved through the thick grass up to the arched door with an old looked grabbled knocker. I shifted and threw on some clothes then waited for everyone to do the same. I lifted Coral with some effort. Believe it or not, Mermaids are not light. She sent me a bashful smile when I huffed. Eli scrunched his nose in protest but didn't try and take her from me. We made our way up the stone path. With closer examination, it had writing in some foreign language scratched into it. It felt wrong to walk on it. Eli grabbed the wide circle of the knocker an
I'm gonna do some of the other characters p.o.v.'s(These are just gonna be small, short chapters.)-JuliaFuck.
"They're all so beautiful. I can't endure it!" Nicole squealed while watching all the pups play. I smiled and wrapped my arms around her waist and laid my head on her shoulder."You want a boy right?" I mumble while licking my mark on her shoulder. She nodded while biting her lip."Toddler?" She
"We gather here today to say farewell to the 9 lost warriors from yesterdays battle. One of them thankfully survived and are in the infirmary now. Adam Williams, Cuff Howled, Crook Howler, Nona Quinn, Max Jr, Benjamin Rouchouser, Seymour Lastlor, Zack Eastern, and Ethan Pandra." Eli said dejectedly while looking out over the crowd of tear-stain-faced wolves.People cried over there lost ones, making my heart sink. The nine bodies laid in there caskets as their ds and family morn over them. I bite my lip while I r
Eli's P.O.V.A wolf tackled Vikki to the ground, but before I could help her, three wolves dragged me away. Two had each of my back legs and another had my tail. They held me down with immense force, trying to avoid the armor so they didn't burn themselves. They didn't have hold of me for long, the one on my left leg got bit down on, his leg now unusable. He stammer
"You made a mistake. And the only thing you can do is serve the consequences." Luna Mia snapped in my face as 3 of her wolves held me down. 8 wolves held Eli back as he screamed and howled for escape. His eyes met mine while I listen to Mia shift to kill me. Both of our eyes scatter tears but I didn't pay attention to anything else. I sent waves of forgiveness through the bond, only making him whimper boisterous."I'm sorry,"I whisper while feeling Mia's teeth latch around my neck
My breathing was shallow while Eli and I attacked each other."Hey Hey Hey!" I blush and separated from Eli while glimpsing at Irma."Get your butts out here before you miss the run." Eli sighs in defeat before we follow her downstairs.
My feet are killing me!These heels are going to be the end of me I swear. I sigh when we finally reached the top of the pack house stairs. My nerves twisted uncomfortably as everyone rushed ahead of me."Sweetie...you've got this." My mom kissed my cheek, causing my nerves to flutter but come b
I sigh and lay a kiss to her temple as she lays in deep slumber. I play with her hair as I turn back to my computer. I searched through tons of different necklaces, trying to find one I thought she'd like. I smile and click on one, my smile widening. I click buy before closing the app and shutting my laptop. I place it on the bedside table before cuddling up with her, making sure not to make her stir."Alpha,"Martin spoke through the link, I groan but respond anyway.
"I can't believe what a softy you've become since you've found her!!!!" Baron bursting with laughter at Martin's unyielding glare. I smiled at them from where they sat at the bar stools while I made lunch."A softy? Bull shit!" Martin growled, only making Baron laugh harder."Hey, Marty Poo." I
