EVOLET
I can’t believe he came after turning me down. And he’s small?
“You can shrink your size? What happened to your majestic form?” I asked, rising from the ground. Cadell rolled his eyes at me but didn’t voice out. Seems someone is playing the silent treatment. Still, I’m so happy that he’s here. I feel much better. “What’s that wolf doing there?” “Isn’t that a forest wolf? How did it get into the pack?” Voices mumbled, fixing their attention on Cadell, who they mistook for a mere wolf that dwells far from we werewolves. I could hear the Beta ordering a guard to step in and take him away, only for my furious opponent to roar out in anger, coming at Cadell and I. Quickly, Cadell pushed me out of the way, as he dodge the werewolf, distracting it from attacking me. With no hesitation, he went head to head with my opponent, fighting her like a mad dog. When I saw she was distracted, I immediately ran up to her with boldness, using force to climb her back, wrapping my right arm around her neck. And the moment I had a good grip on her, I felt that vibration again, with strength circulating my body. With speed, I used that energy in tossing my opponent to the ground, leaving her face flat on the dust, I panted out, looking at the weak wolf, who transformed back to her human form, declaring the battle over! “Yes!” I heard Derby scream out in joy, as she clapped for me. I was still amazed by the turn of event. I won the battle when everyone concluded I would fail. When I stood straight, looking at the silent crowds with Cadell by my side… “YEESSS!!” The whole arena echoed with a satisfied audience, who chanted out loudly. This made me happy, as I lifted my right hand into the air, in victory. I looked towards the Queen and Alpha Allen’s direction, and met them gazing in surprise. “Seems this wolfless damsel stole the show after all.” I smiled, fixing my eyes at Allen, who had his gaze locked with me, causing my heart to glow. “That’s cheating!” Fiona shouted, stepping out. “She’s not the winner. She was helped by this nasty dog from the bushes. It’s against the rules!” she yelled, claiming I cheated. Cadell growled at Fiona while I glowered at her in anger, as she told the Queen and the people that I should be disqualified for my actions. “You lost, Evolet. You are no winner, “ she boldly said, crossing her arms. Having had enough of her nonsense, I said, “That’s in your eyes, Fiona. But I know I won this battle without cheating.” She rolled her eyes. “There’s no rule in the game that says no mere wolves allowed. Yes, I don’t know if I’ll ever summon my wolf, but the goddess summoned one for me, and that’s my pet,” I said, squatting down to caress Cadell. And he played along pretty well, acting like a normal wolf. “I took care of this wolf when it needed someone. I never brought him here, but the goddess did. She sent a helper to stand by this weak omega’s side, as her wolf,” I smiled at Cadell, as he stared into my eyes, looking happy. “So don’t vent your frustrations on me because you’re scared of what you just witnessed. You don’t scare me,” I said, glaring at Fiona while rising to my feet. She was mad at my words and still tried to get others to support her, saying, “The rule says every damsels should show off their wolves, not pets!” “My Queen, isn’t that part of being a Luna?” she asked Queen Chriselda, stepping forward. I looked at the Queen and saw how she stared at me in silence. The looks in her eyes made me worried. Why do I feel as if she’s going to side with Fiona? Just then, someone turned the tables in my favour. It was Derby! “The goal is for every damsel to show the royal family why they should be crowned Alpha Allen’s Luna, and Evolet just portrayed that by doing what late Luna Violet does. She’s friendly with other creatures and taught us to be at peace with them. Evolet has just displayed that through this wolf. She never called it, but it sensed her worry and came over,” Derby said, silencing Fiona and the people. I was marveled by her intervention. She’s a genius. “Hmm, that’s true. She did amaze us with her pet,” the Queen said, taking Derby’s words into consideration. And just like that… “The wolf can stay, since this damsel has displayed one of our late Queen’s attribute. Very impressive,” the Queen said, smiling at me. Joy, I happily bowed at the queen, dashing into Derby’s arms for a hug. She just saved my ass. Fiona was mad to hear this. She walked out of the arena in anger, glaring at us. I boldly stared back at her, knowing that she can no longer torment me because I can’t summon my wolf. I have Cadell with me, and he will help me in every other games to come. After the battle, the damsels that won where assigned to stay in special rooms prepared for us by the Queen. As we were making our way to the mansion, I spotted my mother standing at a corner, looking directly at me. “Mom,” I uttered, feeling emotions engulfing my body. I never thought she would come to watch the game. I felt so glad to see her. Leaving the others, I rushed up to Mom and gave her a hug, which she didn’t refuse, even though she didn’t hold me back. “You came.” “Hmm,” she muttered, slowly pushing me off her body. I looked at my mother and saw anger. She’s still upset with me for going against her. And to show I was sorry, I took hold of her hands and apologized for my disobedience. “I know I’ve wronged you mom, but… but I made it in. And if I make it at the end, I’m going to…” “You really don’t know what you’re doing, Evolet,” she interrupted, swaying her head at me. I couldn’t understand why Mom was being this way, She was still against my entering into the Luna hunt. “One day you’ll understand why I didn’t want you joining,” she said. She was about to leave but paused on seeing wolf Cadell beside me, looking at her. She stared at him for a brief moment and said to me, “Good luck.” “Mom,” I called, but she walked away, leaving me heartbroken. “I only want to make us happy. I…” I lowered my head in sadness, before feeling Cadell’s head touching my hand. He cheered me with a smile, before with both went to join the others, heading to our room. . “Your room,” a maid of the mansion said, opening the door to a beautiful large room. I was mesmerized while stepping inside, admiring the interior and the big bed. “Dinner will be ready by nine. Don’t forget, my lady.” “Thank you,” I appreciated the maid, who left Cadell and I alone in the room. When she left, I locked the door with the key, turning over to gaze at my new bedroom. “Only me in this room? Wow!” I shrieked in delight, sitting on the bed to feel its softness. While I was doing this, a curious Cadell, still in his wolf form, began roaming around the room, like one who was searching for something. “I forgot you’re here as well,” I said, rolling my eyes at him. “What are you looking for?” I asked, noticing how he checked the bathroom, behind the bed, before the door. “You know, I like you better in this form than your human self.” I chuckled, leaning back a bit. All of a sudden, Cadell faced my direction and dashed at me! “AHH!” I screamed when he jumped right on me, pinning me down in bed. That’s when the room went dark in an instant, and wolf Cadell was now in his human form, staring into my eyes with a cunning smile on his face. My whole body shivered at the sight of his charm, as he used one hand in pinning both my hands above my head, gazing into my eyes in the darkness. “I believe you owe me something.” “Wh… what’s that?” I stammered, still lost in our stare. That’s when I felt his hand slowly caressing my lips, whispering, “A kiss.” My heart skipped when I heard that from him. His eyes shimmered with delight, as he slowly lowered his head down, taking hold of my chin, about to kiss me. I couldn’t voice out and stop Cadell. His charm left me speechless, stealing my voice. And just when our lips was about to connect… “Evolet!” “Derby?” I recognized the voice that called me from outside, getting my senses. With force, I pushed Cadell aside and ran towards the door in the darkness. When I turned around to tell him to change, the darkness vanished immediately. Cadell sat on the bed in his wolf form, shrinking his eyes at me. Thank the goddess Derby came. I would have kissed this perv! I opened the door and allowed Derby in. She was happy with our rooms, screaming in excitement. But when she tried to pet Cadell, the crazy fellow growled at her, hiding at my back. “Aww! He likes his mommy!” she giggled, while I frowned at this drama queen. “Yeah, he does,” I said, looking at a pleased Cadell. He’s enjoying this.EVOLETWith Thelma gone, all the werewolves under her control were snapped back to their senses.Cadell and I got back to the pack and found the Vampires and Werecats rounding them all in a big circle. They were confused on what was happening. Even the Alphas who joined in this battle, had seen their own men transform into things beyond their wildest dream, and ran into hiding to protect themselves. They were captured by Trent’s men while trying to flee away. They were the only ones who were held down like prisoners, except for their armies.“What’s going on here?!”“Where’s the Queen?!” They roared out, still puzzled by all these drama unfolding before them. The only one who was acting stubborn was Allen. That jackass thought he was powerful enough to take anyone out, since he’s the Alpha. But Trent was the one who brought him down to his knees like the loser he was.“I will kill all of you!” He threatened both Vampires and Werecats, mostly directing his words at Scarlet and Trent.“
EVOLETI walked deeper into the woods all by myself, picking the scent of my enemies getting closer than ever.Up straight ahead, I could see a figure standing in a clear opening, waiting patiently for me to come. And that figure looked so much like Chriselda.Yes, she’s the one. I can even tell from her scent.“It’s like Cadell said,” I muttered while getting closer to her. “They won’t be together when we get there,” I finished his sentence before coming to a halt.Between Christy and I was a big space to keep us away from each other, but it was enough to look into the eyes of the one who robbed me of my throne years back.“Violet? Or is it Evolet?” She asked, staring at me with her face shifting into a light smile.I didn’t respond to her question but asked, looking around the spot we where in, “Where are your buddies? Let me guess… hiding?” I smirked, tilting my head to the side.“It’s all you ever do. Sneak behind someone and take them by surprise. Put a blade right behind their b
EVOLETIt’s a good thing we have the internet to help inform us on the things that are taking place in the Werewolf lands. If not for Derby who just decided to check her phone, we wouldn’t have seen the allegation Chriselda and Thelma made against us.Their lies and plans to gather enemies to fish us out, sped up our plan that very day.I didn’t wait for us to move that night like I had wanted, but that very morning after the announcement Chriselda shared. The only ones who stayed back were Mom, Scarlet, and Trent. I gave the Alpha and Queen an order to gather their armies and wait for the sign.We left Mom at Scarlet’s palace to stay safe, while Cadell took Derby and I back to Wolf Fall.It wasn’t hard to get in now that I remember everything about my past.I mean, I once ruled this land.I know most of the spots I usually follow back then. It was easy to sneak into the pack without being seen.My home was heavily guarded by the guards, and we didn’t want to head over to Derby’s apar
QUEEN CHRISELDA“Yes, those videos were taken by my friends and I. It wasn’t created for any bad intention against the werewolves or Wolf Fall. It was directly fixed at exposing the lies and deceit we’ve all been living in for years,” Evolet spoke confidently, directing her words to me.“Am I a spy for the Vampires, Werecats, or even the Rogue? No. Do I have any connection or relationship with them?” Well… Yes,” She openly confessed without any fear, surprising the pack.“I have a deep relationship with them, and they are more than just my friends… but my family.”“You see!” I immediately voiced out, laughing out mockingly at Evolet.“I told you she is working hand in hand with the enemies! What other deceitful words are you looking for from this girl?!” I questioned the elders. They didn’t know how to respond to this matter. It’s as if they were confused on which side to stand on. And from what I’m seeing, I think they are trying to consider the fact that Eve called those beasts her
QUEEN CHRISELDA“If the Queen says Alpha Allen was under a dark spell placed by the enemies, then that means Evolet is neither our enemy nor a traitor.”“YES!” They all chorused in agreement, standing their ground!Their behavior was annoying to the core. I couldn’t stand this nonsense any more.If not for my people who’s watching, I would have done something to make these ungrateful girls pay for…“You all are ungrateful!” Fiona busted out in rage, picking the exact same word from my mind.“The Queen is sacrificing all her strength to keep this pack and the people safe, and just because you didn’t get the justice you wanted so badly, you have decided to make fun of her by declaring that Omega clean? NO! You will get nothing from her!”Such power!I made the right choice by selecting her.She gave the girls a piece of her mind, the same way I’d have done if I wasn’t feel tied down by the people’s gaze.“Fine then, you can believe what you want. But the truth about that traitor will no
QUEEN CHRISELDAThe following day, I did as Thelma had said and gave Allen his position back, as Wolf Fall’s Alpha. When I made this announcement publicly to my people, as well as the elders, they were not pleased one bit.Their faces showed how annoyed they were with my decision. The anger was more visible on the faces of the damsels who were used by Allen as a tool of pleasure. They had their eyes fixed at both Allen and Fiona, who stood next to my sorceress, right beside me.Well, I don’t care about them.I’m not the one who told them to stupidly give themselves to my son blindly. It’s their own fault.“My Queen, you can’t just take back your word after what you promised the people.”“Allen can not be our Alpha after what he did to our girls!”The elders argued about this on behalf of the maidens, but with my trump card in my hand, I laid it out and gave them my reason.“You think I’ve forgotten about that? No!” I spoke out, addressing this to everyone, not just the elders.“Yes, m
