Blake's POV

I walked to the hall where the meeting will be conducted but instead of entering it, I just stood by the entrance, lost in my thoughts for the umpteenth time today. It had been two days and yet Gwen's condition had still remained a mystery which was hard to solve.

And even despite moving her to the general hospital outside of the pack house, there hasn't been any improvement as the doctors there are just baffled with whatever the heck is wrong with her.

They just couldn't pinpoint what was wrong with her in particular and it was beginning to gnaw at me, my mind, my soul and everything that concerns me. I sighed again, shaking off the overwhelming sense of helplessness that had become a second skin.
