Sneaking out.

Anastasia's POV.

“This is absolutely ridiculous!” I remarked in annoyance as I wiped the floor with the wet rag. I was fueled by anger and it was evident in my hand movement.

“No it's not, it's just so unfair and sheer wickedness!” Ginny grumbled, furiously moving away some chairs so she washed that part of the floor.

I sighed as I paused my work. We have been cleaning this accursed hall for almost…I didn't even know how long. I have been so consumed with rage to notice how much time has passed.

Glancing over at the mechanical hourglass across the hall– it's late evening. The hourglass had a unique feature that made people know how much time has passed even if you weren't monitoring before.

“Yeah, we have crossed our working hours.” Ginny remarked, also looking at the hourglass.

“What should we do?” I asked as it was now clear that we couldn't continue with this work if we planned on sleeping tonight.

Ginny sighed deeply, “The only thing I am thinking of may get us in some big trouble
