ASHER'S POV

I was furious when one of the guards suggested that I take the car because I wanted to get Elysia to the hospital as soon as possible before she went completely cold.

But I realized that taking her there on food would be detrimental to her and probably wear her out more so I immediately agreed and let the guard drive us.

I carefully made Elysia's head on my thigh so I could look into her face all through the drive to the hospital. She didn't look to be in a good state, the bleeding was not stopping and her body was getting colder. It was more frustrating to me that I could not do anything to save her.

To say I was overwhelmed with everything that was you on would have been an understatement, my mind was absolutely in total chaos. Especially when Elysia's eyes started to flutter close despite everything I did to keep her awake.

"Elysia," I called aggressively and started to shake her violently but nothing was working.
