Chapter Sixty-Six - My Terms

Tori’s POV

Tommy laughed when I told him I would become his recruiter on condition he didn’t touch me inappropriately again.

“That goes for Mrs King, too.”

I didn’t want to know her first name; we were never going to be friends.

“You’ll do as you’re told. Or she gets it, the she-wolf we’re holding.”

“Do it, see if I care,” I dared him.

He seized my neck in a strong grip. I’d been through worse.

“You’re my toy for as long as I want you. Say it.”

I began to choke and exaggerated the sounds I was making long enough for him to loosen his hold.

“No deal," I panted. "And if you choose to force yourself on me again, I swear the first chance I get I’ll kill myself.”

At that point I thanked the Goddess for those acting classes in college.

“You need to learn who’s master.”

“Go on, prove yourself an Alpha male. Rape me and watch my willingness to help you go down to zero.”
