Chapter 21

Laura's heart was racing as she walked down the hallway. Tonight was different. For the first time, she felt like she belonged with Daniel's family. But then, there was Edward Reynolds. He had been so kind to her earlier, but she couldn't shake the fear that Harriet would turn him against her.
