The moment we reach home from the airport, Elena rushes to me and hugs me. I hug her back and we both start to laugh for absolutely no reason.

“I guess I wasn’t missed.” Kane says and takes our luggage in.

“Oh please it’s not like you even cared about me whilst you were there.” Elena says.

I roll my eyes at both of them.

“I’m starving, tell me there’s food!” I say.

“Kitchen.” I immediately rush there.

I find Fried rice in a pot so I quickly dish it out on two plates for both I and Kane. I go back to the living room and see Kane and Elena talking to each other. It would have been normal but they seem so serious and their both sitting diagonally to each other on two different couches.

I walk up to Kane and hand him his plate. I noticed they both got quiet when I got here.

“Thank you love but I’m not hungry.”

I look at him with a straight face and he immediately grabs a spoon and puts it in his mouth.

“What are you guys discussing?” I ask whilst sitting next to Kane.

“He’s
