We collapsed on the floor and later showered and changed. I was heading back downstairs when the new phone that Kane got me started ringing. It was Elena.

“Hiii Elena.”

“For someone who's gotten bad news you sound overly happy.”

“I may have gotten together with someone today.”

“Well it’s about time. It would have been weird but now that you're technically no longer step siblings it’s fine.”

“Anyways, why’d you call?”

“Oh I’m outside what I believe to be kanes house.”

“Right, I'm coming.”

“Kane!” I scream.

“Yeah!” He screams back.

“Elena’s here, get your ass down here!”

I open the door. Elena’s staring at me with an odd expression.

“What’s wrong?”

“We have a problem.” She semi smiles.

He grabs my hand and pulls me behind him then checks outside.
