Carrie

After the party, I made my way back to my room, feeling a mix of emotions. As I prepared to take a shower, I heard a gentle knock on my door. It was Lily, Jesse's sister.

"Hey, Carrie, are you awake?" Lily asked, poking her head through the slightly open door.

"Yeah, I'm still up. Come on in," I replied, welcoming her into my room.

Lily stepped in, looking concerned. "So, what happened with Jesse? Why did he end the party so soon?"

I blushed, feeling a bit embarrassed to share the details. "Um, well, it’s my family’s fault. Sorry for that," I explained. I felt sorry for hiding some stuff from her but I knew Jesse would appreciate it more if I do.

Lily nodded, looking understanding. "It’s okay. I heard you have two older brothers and an overprotective father.”

"Um, yeah. I think Jesse wanted to avoid any conflict so he decided to cut the celebration short."

“Oh, no! That must have been awkward. Sorry for that,” she exclaimed. But then, her face turned serious. “I’ve be

CarrieThe sun's warm rays spilled into the cozy kitchen as I stood beside Nancy. She asked me to help her make breakfast, something that she rarely does considering that they have maids to do the work for them. Maybe, it’s because Lily was allowed by her mate to spend more time in Silverfang. Clearly, Nancy wanted to cook food for her beloved daughter who she rarely sees. Speaking of Lily, the woman emerged from the door. She was wearing an apron and her hair was tied in an updo. “Care if I join?” she asked. “Sure! You don’t need to ask,” Nancy responded before handing her a bowl. The three of us started preparing the ingredients for the delicious meal we were planning to make. It felt wonderful to be included in this motherly moment, something I had never experienced before. My mother died giving birth to me and the only motherly figure I had growing up was the omegas surrounding me. So, having this moment with Nancy was something I held dear to my heart. A little while later,

CarrieMy heart was pounding with nervous excitement as I waited inside my room for Jesse to come and fetch me. He invited me to come to meet his wolf, something that made me restless since the last time we talk earlier. ‘Carrie, come on! Let's go surprise Jesse in his room. It'll be better than waiting here for him,’ Vera urged as she kept on bugging me inside my head. Time seemed to move slowly as I struggled to keep her excitement in check. Ever since Jesse mentioned introducing us to his wolf for the first time, Vera wouldn’t stop whining. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself. ‘Vera, I know you're excited, but we should wait here. Let's give Jesse the chance to come to get us as he planned.’‘But what if he forgets? What if he fell asleep and forgot about meeting us? Are you sure Jesse told you to wait for him here? Carrie, we should—’‘Yes, I’m sure, Vera,’ I interjected. ‘I am excited to meet his wolf spirit too, but we have to be patient. Jesse promised to fetch us so

CarrieAs we ran through the forest all day, I couldn’t help but be happy. We had so much fun running through the big boulders and terrains. I never felt so alive! The sun began to set, it cast a warm golden glow over the trees. Finally, we decided it was time to take a break and rest for a while. Jesse made a gentle nudge in my thoughts, asking me to follow him as he knew a place where we can rest. I followed him without hesitation. After a few moments, we reached a river and I marveled at the beauty before us. The water was crystal clear, and the moonlight danced upon its surface. It created a mesmerizing display, which made me in awe. Jesse started to shift back to his form, revealing his naked beauty before me. I blushed slightly, not used to seeing Jesse like this, though this wasn’t the first time I saw a man naked after shifting from their wolf. Nakedness is something I should have used to seeing being part of the werewolf kind and yet, there was something about Jesse that

JesseI stared at Carrie with all the love I could offer. We had been dancing around our feelings for each other for a while, and now that she had accepted our mateship, I knew it was time to take the next step.I took a deep breath, trying to muster the courage to ask Carrie the question that had been on my mind all night. "Carrie," I said, my voice a little shaky, "would you like to spend the night in my room?"Carrie looked at me shyly. Her face was crimson red. "Hmm… Are you sure?" "Yeah, I’m sure," I replied, feeling the sudden rush of excitement. I cupped her cheeks and smiled sweetly. "I want to be with you… just you and me…"A smile tugged at the corners of her lips, and she nodded. "Sure."I felt a huge sense of relief with her answer. We got up from the big rock we were sitting on and went back to the pack house. As we held hands and walked, my heart was racing with anticipation. Once we got to my room, I closed the door, and I felt the world suddenly stop spinning. I had

JesseAs Carrie stepped out of the dressing room, I couldn't help but notice how the clothes she tried on hugged her body, accentuating her sexy curves. My heart raced as she showed off the outfits she and my mom had bought earlier that morning. She was oozing with confidence, touching her hair, and biting her lips. It was evident that she was in the mood, and her womanly scent filled the air, making it hard for me to resist."I think this dress is perfect for that dinner next week," she said, twirling around in a body-hugging red dress."Yeah, it looks great on you," I replied, trying to keep my tone casual as I admired her beauty. I grabbed a book on the shelf trying to distract myself with what I feel for her. "You're not saying much," she purred, walking closer to me. I tried to sit comfortably as she traced my arms with her fingers. "Do you like what you see? Or maybe, you would like it better when I am not wearing anything, hmm?"I quickly got up from the couch. “Um, honey, I f

JesseI sat down at my desk where piles of paperwork were all around. The papers had lots of small details and things to do, but I didn't really mind. It felt strange, but I actually found comfort in this chaotic office setting. Holding a pen, I looked at each document enthusiastically. I couldn't stop myself from whistling a happy tune, as if the music itself made the boring task fun. The notes from my humming floated in the air, making the quiet room a bit more alive and cheerful. Just in, I felt my spirit wolf coming out of my subconscious self. "Well, well, well,” he said, sounding astonished. “Who would have thought that a lazy ass like you would enjoy doing paperwork. It’s a miracle!”I put down the paper I was reading and frowned. "I've always been like this, Vigo. It's part of my duties as an alpha."“Yeah right,” Vigo mocked as if I spat an obvious lie. He rolled his eyes playfully and continued to tease me. “You only become like this since you and Carrie got laid. I guess

CarrieThe morning sun beamed through the window, wrapping our room in a golden glow that felt like pure magic. I sprang out of bed, butterflies dancing in my belly. Ever since I moved into Jesse's room, every morning feels like this. As I looked around, happiness swept over me, and I felt so content. Time to clean up our little paradise, something I wanted to do myself. No need for the omegas' help; I wanted this job just for me. This room is our special place, just for us, and I'm gonna make sure it stays that way. With a cloth in hand, I cleaned every surface with tender care, wiping away any hint of dust or dirt. When I was done, heaved a sigh of satisfaction and went out of the room. Now, it was time to head to the kitchen and take charge of Jesse's lunch for later. As I walked into the hallway, excitement filled me. I was whistling a happy tune when Vera emerged from my mind. "Well, well, well," Vera said, her mischievous grin evident in her tone. "Look who's playing the doti

Carrie“So, what brings you here?”My dad looked puzzled at my straightforwardness. He smiled awkwardly. “Do I need permission to see my only daughter?”“Dad, let’s cut to the chase,” I stated, trying to act cool. “The last time we spoke, we had a terrible argument and exchanged hurtful words. You cannot blame me for asking the question knowing that we haven’t heard from each other since that incident.”My heart tightened as I spout those words. I truly longed for my dad's presence, yet the difficult situation he placed me in was not easy to accept. The strain it caused made it challenging for me to comprehend his actions, leading to numerous miscommunications and misunderstandings between us.Dad took a deep breath, understanding the weight behind my words. “Okay, I’ll get straight to the point.” He looked me dead in the eye and said, "I want you to come back to Blackmoon, Carrie. I want you to come home with me."I took a step back, trying to wrap my head around what he was saying.

Jesse I was preparing everything for Liam. The time had come for him to return to Blackmoon after spending some time with me in Silverfang. As I gathered his things, a touch of melancholy washed over me. Our time together had been an incredible experience, and now it was coming to an end. "Make sure you don't forget anything," I reminded him. Liam nodded, a bright smile on his face. It had been two years since our battle with Corey, and we had all returned to our peaceful lives. My life had transformed into a colorful and joyous one since Liam had entered it. Carrie had finally agreed to let me be part of their lives as a co-parent with Liam. I had been making up for lost time and bonding with my son, and even the Silverfang pack celebrated his arrival the first time he set foot here. Jerick, although he hadn't forgiven me completely, was now civil and warmer with me. He had expressed his approval of me being in Liam's life despite everything that had happened between our packs, an

I called out to my son, who was now by my side, and he gladly approached me.Tears welled up in my eyes as I rushed towards him, and we held each other in a tight, heartfelt hug. My hands instinctively ran through his soft, tousled hair, and I caressed his face with an overwhelming sense of joy and relief. The emotions surged through me like a tidal wave.Liam looked up at me with a hint of concern in his innocent eyes, his small voice breaking the silence. "What's wrong, mommy?"I couldn't contain my tears, but they were tears of happiness, and a warm smile graced my face. "Mommy is just happy to see you again, sweetheart. I love you with all my heart. You know that, right?"Liam's face lit up with a bright, contagious smile, and he wrapped his little arms around me, declari

Jesse I followed Ex-Beta Corey's instructions and arrived at Skull Valley alone, determined to do everything to save Liam. I knew the risks of facing Corey and his rogue army, but I had no choice. My heart pounded with a mix of fear and determination as I ventured deeper into the desolate valley. The moon hung low in the night sky, casting an eerie glow over the rocky terrain. I had to navigate carefully to avoid any unwanted confrontations. The wind rustled through the dry grass, and a chill ran down my spine, making me feel more vulnerable than ever. Finally, I spotted Corey standing near a gnarled tree, holding Liam tightly. Our eyes locked, and a tense silence hung in the air. “Mr. Morris!” Liam shouted, making Corey twitch slightly on his side, silencing him with a tightened grip. I clenched my fist seeing this. “Don’t you dare hurt him!” I shouted back. “I did your bidding. Now, release the boy at once and face me!” Corey shouted with a smirk, "You're a fool, Jesse. Coming

JesseThe day had come for me to face Corey. I stood before the mirror, adjusting my shirt, trying to steady my nerves. I'd been in many battles before, but this one was unlike any other. This time, I had to confront my enemy with an unknown disadvantage, and I needed to find a way to succeed, or else I would lose my son before he even knew I existed. We had decided to stay in the Astoria pack until the day of the confrontation. I was in the room that Alpha Christian had provided as my temporary chambers, mentally preparing for the impending war. Running away was not an option this time.As I tried to gather my thoughts and find the courage I needed, I heard a gentle knock on the door. I knew my mother had come to check on me by her gentle voice. She had been trying to engage me in conversation, sensing the weight of the situation, but my mind was preoccupied, and I had ignored her repeated attempts. She entered the room with some supplies for my journey, her concern and love evident

CarrieThe tension in the room was palpable, like an invisible storm cloud hanging heavily in the air. As the troops wisely decided to make their exit, their footsteps echoed in the silence, and the atmosphere grew even more charged. Alpha Christian and Jerick left as well, their absence leaving us alone to confront the emotional turmoil that had long been simmering beneath the surface.Nancy hesitated, her eyes brimming with tears. An unspoken concern was etched across her face, a deep worry for what might transpire in the room. However, her reluctance to leave was overridden by my firm determination. I could feel her trepidation, her desire to stay and protect, but this was the moment for Jesse and me alone."I think this is the time for Jesse and me to face our past," I finally broke the silence, my voice quivering with a mixture of resolve and anxiety."But, Carrie—"I locked eyes with her, silently pleading for her to trust my judgment. I knew that what needed to be said, what ne

JesseI asked the question, desperate for an answer that Carrie wasn't giving. Frustration boiled inside me, and I raised my voice, demanding the truth from her."Answer me, Carrie! And don't you dare lie to me! IS LIAM MY SON?!"But all I got from Carrie were sobs and heavy breaths, and I needed answers urgently. As I leaned closer to her, a strange sensation began to infiltrate my mind. It felt as if an invisible hand was delving into the recesses of my thoughts, attempting to convey a message. This eerie and disconcerting sensation hinted at a presence trying to communicate with me, yet its source remained unclear. It dawned on me that it was a connection attempting to breach the boundaries of my consciousness, and the realization hit me like a thunderbolt. It was a mindlink, a rare skill possessed only by high-ranking wolves."A mindlink," I muttered, and the others in the woods exchanged glances. Gene pointed out that it might be Corey.Without wasting a moment, I shouted urgentl

CarrieMy heart sank like a heavy stone in my chest, aching for the reunion with my son, Liam. Panic overcame me, rendering me utterly helpless and frozen in time. My mind conjured the most terrifying scenarios, and I couldn't shake the paralyzing fear of losing him at any moment. I clutched my chest, desperately trying to calm my racing heart and regain some semblance of control. I attempted to convince myself that my son was okay and that nothing bad would happen to him. But who was I kidding? Liam and his friend had been kidnapped by an unknown wolf, and the likelihood of him being hurt in the process was a one-in-a-million possibility.“Liam! Liam! Where are you, sweety? It’s Mommy! Liam!”Desperation consumed me as I called out Liam's name in the woods. The thought of Liam being alone and vulnerable in an unfamiliar place tore at my soul. Jesse"Now, could you please explain how the best werewolf school on the continent allowed two kids to go missing without a trace?"I could sense Jerick's frustration as he made his sarcastic remarks. His face revealed his feelings. Like the rest of us, he too demanded answers regarding the disappearance of Liam and Jaxon.Alpha Christian heaved a sigh, composed himself, and began to calmly explain what had happened."The report is based on our only witness, Carl, one of the freshmen here at Lycan Academy and a friend of Liam and Jaxon. He was the last person Liam and Jaxon were seen with before they went missing.""Another kid was involved?" Gene remarked, his voice tinged with surprise. Alpha Christian continued his story. As Alpha Christian spoke, his tone grew more somber, and he gazed out the window. His eyes reflected the weight of the situation.
