Chapter 108 Failing to Steal the Chicken Will Ruin the Rice

The call from Hathaway was like a sudden storm, catching Darwin off guard for a moment. He had expected some fallouts from his maneuvers against Joseph, but he hadn't anticipated that it would stir the Ross family's hornet's nest so vigorously.

"Hathaway, you should know that I don't need to play such games," Darwin replied, his voice calm and controlled. "The Ross family's affairs are none of my business unless they interfere with mine."
