CHAPTER 73: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

Reid’s POV

I sit alone in my office, not bothering to turn on the lights, as I allow myself to get swept away by my thoughts.

I just can’t believe that after all these years, I have finally found the key the prophecy had talked about. The key to the door would unlock the doors of unimaginable power.

And that key is Meredith Amman. Who would have thought that after all these years of searching, what I have been looking for was right under my nose all along? I never would have thought that Amman’s daughter would be an omega.

That damn bastard, he fooled me for many years. Amman was once my best friend back in the day, but when we became leaders of our various entities, I suppose we drifted apart. Our friendship weakened until it was no longer there.

I have met Meredith once before, back when she was just a little girl. About the tender age of three, I believe.

I never expected her to remember me, and it is a good thing she didn’t. That day was the last time I saw both Amman and
