CHAPTER 31: TRAINING SESSION

Meredith’s POV

Alpha Caelen was clearly a man of great strength. Ever since that moment at the cave, I always knew he possessed many unique qualities. They all did.

While Saul was cunning, smart, and more skilled in different crafts that didn’t involve brute force, Caelen was the exact opposite.

This was his field. Which is why, at this moment, he circled me like a predator would its prey; my heart was pounding wildly against my chest.

“You know I can hear your heart beating wildly in your chest, right?” He asks, stopping right in front of me and staring down at me with those honey brown eyes.

Well, that wasn’t surprising, was it? His face is dead serious; it isn’t mischievous like Saul’s or void of emotion like Roman's.

His was a somewhat combination of both.

There is a wild curiosity in his eyes, along with a need for perfection. If not, there will be a blood bath.

A shiver runs down my spine when he slides a strand of my hair gently behind my ear. It sends an army of goosebumps
