LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH

When Cindy hung up on him, Jack sat down weakly on the chair. Everything felt like a dream to him. No, it couldn't be. He wasn't going to accept it. How could Cindy break up with him? Where had he gone wrong? All he had tried to do was to help her be a better person, how could she be so cruel to him?

He unlocked his phone and began to stare at Cindy's picture. Despair washed over him as he finally realized that he had lost the love of his life. He slowly lay down on the floor as a tear seeped out of the corner of one of his eyes.

He sat upright when an idea came to him. Cindy had people she liked and could listen to and Tim was one of them. If he could convince Tim to talk to Cindy, would she change her mind? There was also Spencer. Cindy was fond of his brother and might listen to him.

He decided that since Cindy had just shunned him over the phone, it wouldn't be a good idea for him to ask these two people to call her today. He would wait until tomorrow before asking them for help.
