Drugged and spending the night with a stranger

Murmurs began in the room, the flashes from the camera reduced and Victor looked as if a dog had bitten his ears.

Fianceé?

Grace immediately froze. Her eyes widened as if she had seen a ghost. She looked at the calm man beside her who placed a hand on her back patting her back, in a way to tell her not to say anything.

 Alpha Nelson Divine.

As in President of the Divine group international Alpha Nelson Divine? The only grandson of the richest family in the world? The real Alpha Nelson Divine?

Grace gulped and quickly averted her eyes, looking at her palm. As a fianceé, she was supposed to know his position and should not act too surprised knowing who he was. She tried to stay calm, without fiddling her fingers too much.

Victor immediately scoffed. “Unbelievable,” He folded his arms and smirked looking at Alpha Nelson.

“What would a highly renowned CEO be found in an area like this? I don't believe you. You are just trying to deceive us.

If it was the Alpha Nelson Divine I know, he would probably be dining in the world's biggest hotel not a four-star hotel like this   Grace knew she should stay calm in this situation and not say anything but she couldn't keep it in.

She took a deep breath and felt Victor's gaze on her. She looked at him expressionlessly, she forced herself to do it even though she was hurt and sad. That the person she loved would do something like this.

“I suggested it,” Grace said. She managed to blush and tighten the blanket around her.   “I suggested to him that we meet here because it has been a long time since we saw each other and he was around the area. He didn't mind.

She raised her head and looked at the reporters in the room. “I suggest you all leave before you get into more trouble than you already are in.

This is a private session between two couples. It's not nice to have people staring at me

Luckily enough, the reporters were smart enough to understand and quickly apologized leaving just Victor in the room who was about to say something.

“You are not leaving?” Alpha Nelson asked him.

Victor watched him for a while before collecting his phone and furiously typing something.

He looked up from his phone screen and looked at Alpha Nelson. He did that a couple of times, his expression becoming dreadful as each moment passed.

“Mr…Mr…” he gulped. His head quickly bowed. “Mr. Divine I apologize for what I had caused you.

I did not expect that you would be the person my lover would have used for this situation.   I did not know. I would make sure not to share any rumors about you.”

Grace scoffed. She couldn't believe he called Cindy his lover in front of her. Her head slightly turned to the side, tears were already brimming in her eyes.

Victor was also a CEO. Vice chairman of the Digital consult group. Their family had known each other and thought it was wise for the two to get married.

She was always spending time with him and him alone.

But after her father lost his position, the family was nice enough to let her join their company as an accountant.

Victor felt she should work elsewhere and that it might be bad for her image if he let her work with them. It could look like she got in through a connection.

So she worked as an accountant in a publishing company. Junior accountant and she was too busy to even be with him as before.

But he always called. He always cared. Was that all for naught? Did he never love her for him to drug someone and then put her in this situation?

“You,” Victor said, pointing at Grace.

“Get up from the bed now."

Alpha Nelson who had removed his hand from her back then said

“That's no way to talk to my fianceé. You should leave before I change my mind about calling the cops."

Victor gave her a hateful glance before walking out.

Alpha Nelson just gave her a simple gaze before getting up and heading to the bathroom.

With that Grace was left alone in the room. She didn't waste any more time before leaving the hotel room.

As she walked out of the hotel lobby, she glanced around cautiously before heading down the street.

After ensuring she was alone, she made her way to the nearest dilapidated building.

As the moon's silver light spilled over her, her skin tingled with an unsettling sensation.

With a deep, guttural growl, she moved to the edge of the building, her muscles contorting and bones shifting as an otherworldly force coursed through her.

The metamorphosis surged through her, an overwhelming and almost surreal ordeal she could never quite get used to.

The sensations were intense as her body tingled, and convulsed.

With a primal howl that pierced the silence, her form twisted and changed, fur sprouting across her skin, limbs elongating into powerful limbs, and teeth sharpening into formidable fangs.

The world below looked miniature from her new vantage point, and with an exhilarating rush of adrenaline, she leaped into the night, now a creature of the moon and shadows – a fearsome werewolf.

Her eyes growing keener and more vibrant, adapted for nocturnal pursuits. The change was completed with spasms and shudders, leaving her bewildered yet exhilarated.

Testing her abilities, she flexed her powerful limbs and felt the brush of fur against fur.

The air caught her as she surged upwards, her howl of excitement echoing through the night.

Grace, a rare shifter with the ability to transform into a werewolf raced through the city streets, her senses alive with the scent of humanity and the rhythm of urban life.

A symphony of sounds faded into the background as her heightened senses took over, guiding her back home under the pale moon's embrace, her being now one with the night.

With the moon as her guide, she finally returned home under its pale glow, her mind cleansed of the past events.

In a world where shapeshifters were few, Grace stood out. Her mother had shared this unique gift, but circumstances had robbed her of it.

Her brother could not shapeshift and till their father left them, he never knew that he had shapeshifters in his family.

Her mum had said he could have sold them for money.

As for her situation, tomorrow she would have to face the consequences and ask him why he had done that to her. She needed answers.

Grace opened the apartment door and went inside. Putting on the light, the first thing her eyes met was her mother who stood before her with an angry expression.

 “Mum…   Pak!

A slap across her face was enough to send her body to the floor.
