Michael did really arrive by the next morning.

I wanted to gossip about what happened at the banquet, but the man did not open up the topic.

Michael ordered his men to immediately investigate the evidence while he checked the contents himself.

I stared at Michael who watched the camera footage of the day the car crashed. He examined the pictures, phone recordings, and the other evidence in the USB silently. All of them have Victoria's involvement.

I watched as Michael's expression collapsed little by little as shock, anger, resentment, and guilt intertwined. He staggered weakly while his red eyes did not look away from the screen.

I suddenly remembered one of that bastard's passages in his disgusting diary.
