Chapter Three

I'm not crazy what I think._ Grace Manninhattan

Sunday morning, the time off that Grace used to sleep all day in the room.However, her usual activities were disrupted when Mrs.Launtin came into the room and met her.

Mrs.Launtin pulled the blanket Grace used to wake up her daughter.

"What else is there, Mom?!" Grace said lazily.

"It's noon, Grace. Get up quickly, don't spend your time with bad things in bed. You will die young because your bones are less active."Mrs.Launtin ask.

Grace didn't want to fight with her mother, she immediately opened her eyes.Found her mother still in the room.

She could guess her mother's purpose in asking her to wake up earlier than the usual holiday. It must be related to the marriage that Mr.Charmond is proposing to her.

Grace got out of bed, chose silence and immediately went into the bathroom.

She stood in front of the mirror for a long time, watching her face that was there. Grace admits that she is very beautiful, she can get any boyfriend she wants. With a very young age, not an old man like Mr.Charmond.

Remembering that name, Grace was angry again.She quickly cleaned her face.

"Grace,Mom is waiting for you in the living room."Mrs.Launtin said shouting.

Grace didn't answer, but her mother voice could be heard in the bathroom.

"She will definitely wash my head to accept Mr.Charmond as husband! Crazy." Grace put the toothbrush back in the glass.

After Grace changed into her sleeping clothes, she immediately left the room.Which annoyed her even more, it turned out that Mr.Charmond's face was already there.

"Shit!" Grace said quietly.

The four eyes that were on the chair, fixed on Grace in front of the bedroom door.Her steps did not lead to the two people there.

"I have to have breakfast, Mom."She didn't care about Mr.Charmond who gave her a morning smile, even looked very sweet.

To Grace it was a disgusting smile, the smile of an old man who only wanted to marry her.

"Yes, Grace." Mrs.Launtin replied. "Come here immediately, if you have finished breakfast."

Grace says bad things about guests coming to the house, even though Mr.Charmond visits are a regular occurrence.But it's different when Grace finds out there's a crazy goal she didn't expect.

Before her body disappeared from the living room, Grace's head went to Mr.Charmond.

"I will kill you!" Grace threatens the man who is looking at her.

The only smile that Grace got, Mr.Charmond saw Grace figure was actually adorable with a slightly childish attitude. Even his smile turned into a hint of laughter.

"Grace really can't keep her words, Mr.Charmond. Please, forgive her."Mrs. Launtin said.

"Ah, it's okay. For me it's not a problem, I actually like her face which is very red because she hates me."Mr. Charmond answer.

A meeting that Grace didn't know about, but the contents of the plans of the two people who were in the living room could already guess.

Grace was trying to find a way to leave the house, the hunger in her stomach immediately disappeared when her eyes saw Mr.Charmond at home.

Quietly she left the house through the back window, although a little cramped.Grace small body is very helpful in trying to leave the house without being suspected by her mother or Mr. Charmond.

"You guys should just get married!" Grace ran down the main street to find a taxi.

Several times her head checked the state of the house,she was worried if Mr.Charmond came out of the house and found himself outside to escape.

OH BABY GRACE

Grace contacted Callin, a college friend when she chose to run away from home.She didn't want the two people in the living room to have a sickening conversation about Mr.Charmond proposal and Grace had to agree to it all.

Callin heard all of Grace's stories about Mr.Charmond as well as her family's problems.Even the intention to leave the house if her mother still wants the marriage to happen.

She would answer when Grace asked for her opinion, after which she still tried to listen carefully.

Callin finally knows how difficult it is to be Grace and also her mother. Even Grace conveyed all her stories with unrestrained anger.When she mentioned the figure of her father who turned out to have a wife and left her mother alone without money, when she was about to be born.

Grace also put one mistake on her mother who accepted a married man. The story is getting longer, she explains how Mr.Charmond came into her life and her mother with great help.One of them was her mother's finances, which at that time did not have anyone other than Mr.Charmond.

"I see, the old man is very kind to your mother and also to you, Grace.Why don't they just get married?" Callin asked.

"Yeah, I have the same thought as you. But my mother didn't want that, she just told me.If I accept Mr.Charmond as husband, I can see my father and get revenge by marriage."

"Is your father a billionaire?"

"Yes, that's right."

Grace lay down on the bed, her head hurt badly.Until she was a teenager, Grace had never directly seen the man who had been her mother partner.Only one photos was shown by her mother, when they were still lovers.

Grace doesn't want her marriage to fail, because it's full of bad things.She wanted to marry the man she loved so much.

"I remember one thing, Grace. If you marry someone who loves you.You will be queen of their house.Does Mr.Charmond love you?"

"Yes, he told me about love.But I don't believe in that, Callin.He was married and then divorced, where does love come from when he can live a very long marriage with his ex-wife?"

" That's right."Callin said.

The woman Mr.Charmond married was a model who had good relations with state officials, Grace had seen this beautiful woman at the inauguration ceremony of Mr.Charmond company.She and her mother became one of the VIP invitees of the event.

The arrogance of Mr.Charmond ex-wife made Grace give a bad look at their marriage, and not long after that, Grace heard the news of divorce directly from her mother.It's just that regarding the lawsuit for part of the wealth owned by Mr.Charmond from his ex-wife, Grace didn't know at all.

Apart from being none of her business, Grace is very busy with her education at campus.Now she is actually made sick with two people who are very close to her through that crazy wedding desire.

"If you were in my position, what would you do, Callin?"

Callin put the book on the table,she smiled."I want to live in luxury without having to work, of course I will accept Mr.Charmond as a husband.He can give a lot of dollars to me who is still very young."Callin replied.

Her classmate answer didn't make Grace look down on Callin thoughts, it had become commonplace.Very hard life requires a lot of money to get recognition.It's just that Grace didn't want a miserable marriage like Callin thought.She was sad enough to live without her father.She couldn't even call 'Dad' for a man who already had children from his first wife.

"Damn!"She threw the book on the floor.
