Rose, The Future Condom Producer

Her name was Rose, she was 22 years old and was already a graduate. She graduated 2 months ago from one of the popular schools in the U.S. under Scholarship. Few people always say she was too young to be a graduate, but she would always say to them that it's not by size, but rather it's by the content.  She had graduated and was now searching for a job. Not for the money but instead, she needed a job just to start a new life. She wanted to be like other ladies who would wake so early in the morning and prepare to go to work, she wanted to see different faces and different activities every day. She was tired of being ignorant of things she didn't know about.  Not only that, but she was so sure that she required new people around her, so she could learn new things. Likewise, she just wanted to be happy. She wouldn't mind if she were to be asked to work for free without being paid. That was what she wanted, after all. She just cared less about material things because she believed that one day, everyone would die and will be buried without those things they had achieved so far.

She had lived in the U.S. with her best friend called Annabel in Annabel's Apartment for a long time now. Ever since her parents died, Annabel had always been there for her but trust me! Annabel was an asshole! Such a funny, annoying and naughty friend she got.

It's Monday morning and, as always, it has been a normal day for Rose. In fact, every day was just normal. Nothing was new or old, everything seemed alike. Walking to different companies and searching for a job and getting a negative response at the end was something she got used to but hoped that one day she would definitely get a job. Because she was an introvert, she barely had time to get familiar with her environment and that's why She didn't notice the vacancy in a particular company.  Annabel had told her about a company called Evidence Condom Limited, popularly known to be called The Women Company. She said the company favored just women and not men and that any lady who seeks for a job opportunity would surely get employed in that company. At first, she was surprised and shocked. She hadn't heard such a thing before, she never knew that there was a company only for women. When she heard that it favored only women, she kept wondering why women were the only ones favored in that company. Not just a company but a condom company! Was this for real? She was full of curiosity and couldn't wait to see why the company was for only women alone.  She could only get such privilege only when she is employed into the company, but what if Evidence Condom Limited rejects her just as other companies had been doing? Well, she always believes that one day, she will surely get a job.

It was already 8:00am and Rose was still asleep and had forgotten she was to meet with the CEO of Evidence Condom Company Limited but thanks to the 8:00am alarm that woke her up.

Rose was Still lying on the bed with her eyes open as she gazed at the ceiling continuously with a blank thought as Annabel walked into the room.

“Aren't you going for the interview anymore?”

“Which interview?”

Annabel stood in front of Rose and wondered what kind of fish brain her silly friends had. Wasn't she the one who told her that she was going for an interview today? so, why this question?

Annabel stood and watched the confused Rose.

“Wait… oh my God! The interview? Jeeeeeeeez!” She rushed out of the bed and quickly checked the time and said;

“It's already 8am, and I haven't prepared yet. The interview is by 10:am, and I haven't taken my bath yet. Jeeeeeeeeeez, I'm an ass and I deserve a slap.”

Annabel still stood there as she watched her confused friend talk to herself but had to respond to Rose's last statement.

“Of course, you really need a slap. Not just a slap, but a hot slap. Stay there and don't go prepare for your condom interview…” she said and looked at Rose to see her reaction with a silly and naughty smile on her lips.

Rose was already inside the Bathroom when she heard Annabel's statement and needed to reply to her.

“Condom interview?” Hehehehehehehe. Silly girl.”

They both laughed and it echoed inside the Bathroom.

Few moments later,

Rose had already finished bathing. She was now standing in front of a fancy mirror hung on the wall in her room. She was trying to put on some little face makeup before Annabel interrupted.

"So, tell me, what position are you applying for in that condom company of yours?”

“Huh? It's not my condom company. It's Evidence Condom Company Limited.  You are just good at this. Naughty girl.” She replied and continued rubbing her lipstick.

“It's the same thing girl, you will become a staff there soon, and it automatically means that the company also is yours because your best will be needed to move the company forward. Maybe if they were producing 1,000 condoms, in a day, with your best, they might end up producing like 1001 condoms! Hehehehehehehe.” She laughed as she taunted her. “Rose, the condom producer.”

“Huh? Please allow me to prepare in peace. I feel it would be better not to be late.”

“I'm sorry, Miss condom producer. Oops! I mean Miss Rose” She taunted her again.

“Would you stop?”

“No I won't and I can't"

“Annabel….”

“Miss condom producer, It's 9:00, and you are still here.”

“Jeez! You always know how to distract people and make them concentrate on You!.”

“Hehehehehehehehe.”

“Here she goes again with her evil laugh.”

“Haha haha. Sweetheart, just prepare okay? so, you won't be late for your condom… oh, I mean for your interview.”

“I have nothing to say to you until I return.”

Rose hurried and finally, she was about to leave. She held the door handle as Annabel said;

“I will be going out, but when you are about to come home, let me know so I can tell you where to meet me.”

“Okay. Bye love.”

She walked towards Annabel and gave her a goodbye kiss.

“Bye sweetheart.”
