Memories! Beautiful memories!

That's the tenure of this terrifically fabulous week I had with Damian. Beautiful Recollections worth keeping, and I cherish them. I forever will.

Every single day, every single hour, minute, and seconds that I have aboded in these seven days was remarkable, pleasurable, and wonderful. We didn't partake in much recreations due to the unfavourable weather constraints but at least we had to take a cruise around the talon of the great mt. Kenya which took us a whole day because, well, aside from its irresistibly glueing beauty, this crazy guy had this crazy idea of making love out there. It was rambunctiously wild. Something I couldn't have anticipated, but mind-blowing and clogging in all sense. Then came the tour around the vast city of Nanyuki which we could not finish. The tour in the attractive wildlife. Lastly, we ended our adventures in lake Eliss which is named after the Duchess of Glouchester - Princess Alice. To say that I was happy would be an und

I'm feeling like a Disney Princess as we stroll inside this lavishly sumptuous hotel. It's been years since I wore a long gown like this and more than two inches stilettos. I got rid of them all when I got the liberty to live alone. I despised them, until a few minutes ago when Damian pulled this one from a gift bag and handed it to me. It's corroborated! He possesses some mystic ability of making me fall in love with everything. Never would I have dreamt of wearing a long dress ever again, but here I am, bleeding a phenomenal feeling and dazzling like a diamond as my long dress sweeps the floor while we make our way to our table. The top-notch furnishings, the spotless floor, the tranquil aura, and the exquisite aroma of the luscious cousines automatically tells you that this is a five-star hotel. There is also some sweet jazz playing in the background adding to the serenity of this hotel."Here, Mia regina!" Damian says, peeling his hand off my waist to pull the chair for

  • Now I Do- Marrying My Fiance   HIS UNSPOKEN FEARS

"Welcome back!" "Mmh! Thank you, and welcome back too." I taunt back as we stroll inside my condo. "Do you want to have a few minutes of rest before going to work? I know you aren't used to those long tiresome drives." Damian mumbles as he hauls our suitcases further inside."Thank you for being such a sweet caring daddy, but no. We've been away for a week so there is no way I would get even a wink of sleep given that we are back. Work is calling, and I'm good!" I retort with my most convincing expression."As you say, my queen." He hunches his head down in a playful bow, a smirk poulticed to his face, revealing the eye-catching dimples. Well, it's nothing new. It's just him and his bewitching beauty that can't go inconspicuous, and me my adorations for him. "So shall we take a bath together?" He adds."Sure. You need help with those?" I gesture at the heavy satchels, hoping he would accept my aid in lugging them upstairs, but... pass!"No, baby. I can better make use of my muscles

  • Now I Do- Marrying My Fiance   DIGGING THE TRUTH

"Are we...okay?" Damian queries after parking the car in the parking lot.Are we? Are we not?Call me an old-school or a drama queen, but I just don't like being kept in the dark. I believe in no secrets in a relationship. I uphold the saying that an authentic long-lasting relationship is based on a firm core of trust and honesty, the two things he has issues with.If he trusts me fully, he wouldn't have problems telling me what's bothering him. If only he can be honest with me, probably his fears would have been long gone by now. But he doesn't.For that incentive, I just feel awful that he still is not ready to open up to me after all this while. I have just been awfully mute since our talk back in my condo. I'm not angry, trust me, but I have the right to feel this way, right? I have been nothing but an open book to him, but he, why can't he just do the same to me? I'm willing to listen to whatever his fears are. I'm itching to know what's eating him up because it's beginning to im

  • Now I Do- Marrying My Fiance   ITCHING FOR JUSTICE

"Are you sure you don't want to join us? It's just me and Grace." I ask Damian as he parks in front of my coffee shop. I had this great idea that he, Grace, and I, would have some time together tonight over a cup of coffee but he seems distant somehow. He looks wasted and still unsettled. Why that is, whatever he is so scared of, I'm gonna find out tonight and I am dying to hear it. I just don't like him this way."I'm sorry. We will do this some other time, babe, please." He pleads in a gentle tone."It's alright. Are you okay though? Will you be okay?" I query."I will. I'll just wait for you in our house." He states, urging a smile that doesn't come out so genuinely persuading. Our house! Ooh, how sweet that sounds. "Which one particularly? Yours or mine?" I ask just to be sure. "Yours.""Okay. Drive safe." I say as I grab my purse. "Would you mind if I leave the rest of my stuff here?" I ask.I don't need to haul my laptop and the pair of heels inside and since he is going to

  • Now I Do- Marrying My Fiance   THE CALL OF PLEA

Getting to my house, I can't catch the sight of Damian but the sweet aroma inviting me from the doorway tells me exactly where he is. I didn't know he was going to cook for me. I fling my purse to the couch and kick my shoes off, then stroll to the kitchen.Well, he seems busy, and dazzling in nothing but an apron on coating his tight muscles. Wow! I lean on the door frame, scrutinizing him as he cooks for us and adoring how much beauty he augments to my kitchen - and my life in general. Where would I be if I didn't bump into him that day? What would have become me?Maybe I would have given up on life. For sure no one would have hired me, and the coffee shop that I thought was my savior didn't bring so much contentment after all. Maybe I would have found something to keep me sane, but I would still be a miserable soul. I wouldn't have experienced this happiness and fulfilment that I am feeling now. Ain't I lucky? Ain't he a knight? "What's more delish? Me or the meal?""What?" I snap

  • Now I Do- Marrying My Fiance   THE DREADY NIGHT

"Love?!" I snap my eyes at Damian's voice and from the look of things, he ought to have howled my name more than once. I didn't know I was just staring at him like a bewildered zombie. Last I checked, I just dropped nanny Malia's call.Papa!Papa! That's the only thing lingering in my head right now. My father is sick - seriously sick! Nanny Malia would not have called if his condition wasn't critical. She said it clearly that she decided to call because papa's condition is not good. What is his diagnosis? How long has he not been feeling well? What condition is he in? Is it severe, or just mild? What..."Baby!?""I need to pack. I need to get ready. I need to head back home. I need..." "Love, hey!" "I need to see my father, Damian. I need to see for myself if he is okay or not. I need to be with him, Damian."I quit ranting abruptly and do the first thing that strikes my mind. I start upstairs, sprinting through the blurry stairs due to the tears streaming from my eyes as fast as

  • Now I Do- Marrying My Fiance   EMOTIONAL GOODBYE

"We can have coffee as we wait for your departure time." Damian offers upon reaching the airport.I breathe in and out a huge amount of air. I haven't had peace since I woke up, and if it weren't for that sex we had last night, I'm certain that I wouldn't have slept even for a minute throughout the whole night. It was a nice remedy. It was so different, from my viewpoint. It was a slow-burn sweet romance with a lot of decent chats in between. He could hang back at some notch to just ask if I am okay. The kisses were sweeter and deeper. I must divulge that I had no inkling that our romantic moment would be that sweet given the situation. I felt like he was making true love to me for the first time. Like he bore his all into me last night- his love, trust, and honesty, everything that makes him who is was relinquished to my last night. It took long, and even if he continued fucking me the whole night, I wouldn't have demurred nor gotten exhausted. I felt the actual portrayal

  • Now I Do- Marrying My Fiance   BACK HOME

Clutching onto my satchel and purse at the airport, I don't fritter any second exploring the airport or savoring the fresh tranquil aura. I instead scan for my chauffeur, Mike, and my eye hunt for him doesn't take much of my time. I spot him without much of a hustle, and stroll to him in a haste, the ailment of my father being the only beat echoing in my mind. "Hi, Mike!" I greet him, and he turns to me."Hi, ma'am. Welcome back." A broad smile is portrayed on his lips as he extends the pleasantries."Thank you, Mike." I respond as he opens the door for me and wanders off to settle my satchel in the boot.Ooh, I missed my baby Lamborghini. Life at home, huh? I hope everything welcomes me with a luminous expression."To your house, ma'am?" Mike implores as he ignites the engine."No. To my father's. And please hurry!" I respond. As we hit the road towards home with Christopher Martins'Let her go jazz playing in the stereo, the anticipation of the condition I will find my father in and

ONE MONTH LATERI park at the parking lot of the jail. I know this seems crazy and you are wondering, what is a bride who is supposed to be getting all dolled up for her wedding ceremony doing in a prison? Well, to settle my peace, and show my enemies that they miserably failed. Great times!"Attorney, I'll go alone. Take care of the necessary and be quick." I state, and she nods her head.I dash inside, clutching the magazine in my hand, hoping to finish as soon as I can. Nobody knows I sneaked out just to come here, and I wouldn't want to visualize their faces if they woke up to a missing bride. I can't worry about them."She will be with you in a minute, Mrs Almenda." The prison Warden says, and I nod my head.I am Mrs Almenda to everyone in the city now. Our story, just like I presumed, has reached almost everyone in the whole nation, and we have even earned an emblem of "THE FATED BETHROTHEDS" from the citizens. Our story has outdone that of Romeo and Juliet, and now we are the t

  • Now I Do- Marrying My Fiance   FIRST BETROTHAL. ASCENDING THE THRONE

ONE WEEK LATERI stand in the mirror. Outfit, check! Make-up, check! The hair is perfect! Everything is o.k.a.y!"I could be your mirror, you know." I look at Damian's reflection in the mirror, his face all smiles, beaming and dazzling like always in his custom-made blue suit that is matching with my blue-fitting gown. Two royalties! We are indeed royals!"Mmh. Do I look good?" I ask."You are gorgeous and elegant. I am afraid all the men in the event will fall in love with you." "Really now? I think I am the one who should be weary of women in the event." I respond, caressing his jaw."This guy before you, has eyes for only one woman - Ellie Marrie Riccaford, my betrothed, the love of my life. I wouldn't trade you for anything in the world." He says, melting my heart with his words."And this beauty before you, has her eyes only on one angel, Damian Almenda Riccaforte - my betrothed, the love of my life. It's either you, or no one else. I love you, baby." I whisper."I love you more

  • Now I Do- Marrying My Fiance   AWAKE

"God, please wake this man up already." I hum as I jerk my head from Damian's shoulder.I spent the second night yet in here and still, he is in this distressing deep slumber. Honestly, I am getting furious at him. Why doesn't he want to wake up? Doesn't he know how much it's stinging me to see him like this?"Wake up already, love, will you? I miss you. This world doesn't seem a good place for me without you by my side. Please, wake up." I whisper, pecking his lips.I turn away from him, scouring for some wipes from my purse and wiping off the eye logs. Before I turn back to him, a call from my lawyer distracts me."Hello, attorney." I greet, taking a few strides away from the bed."Hello, Ellie! How are you?" He greets back."I... Am fine, attorney." I respond."I just called to let you know that I reviewed the case that you assigned to me and I think we have got several contending grounds." That makes my heart thump with joy."So does that mean..." "Let's not get ahead of oursel

  • Now I Do- Marrying My Fiance   GUILT

"Ellie! Maybe you want to at least get some fresh air outside even for a minute?" Rose says as they stand across me on the other side of Damian's bed.Breathe some fresh air? What good will that do to my despondent soul? It's been more than twelve hours since we came to this hospital and Damian hasn't woken up yet. If I am still able to breathe it's because I am doing it for both of us. The bullet in his belly hit him really bad. Fortunately, no vital organs were damaged. But he lost lots of blood, that's why he is undergoing a transfusion right now. How can I crave for a fresh breath of air when he is like this?"I am okay, Rose. I don't have the energy to leave his side until he wakes up." I say, nuzzling his hand."But, Bestie, can we at least get you something? You need to at least eat something, please." Sherry pleads."Until he is up and able to eat, I am full." I respond."Come on, Ellie! You know Damian wouldn't want that." Rose says."I want him to tell me that himself. I wan

  • Now I Do- Marrying My Fiance   BATTLE FOR VICTORY

"Where it all started with my mother? What do you mean by that?" I query."This is where I tortured her to my pleasure, and I enjoyed all her howls of anguish and appeals for mercy which I, unfortunately, didn't have! The baseball? Doesn't it remind you of something?" She says with so much elation.Curse you, sick witch! You will pay dearly for that! For everything, and that too, today itself, in this very same house!"I already knew you were behind her mysterious tragedy. But why here?" I ask."There wouldn't have been a satisfactory place for her sufferings other than this - this home, and this exact room that was deemed to be my bedroom with Richard. I bought this house some years back as our supposed rest house with my one great love - your stupid father. But that never got to come true because your mother had invaded his heart. He never saw me as a woman no matter how many times I tried. No matter how low I stoop for him, he just had no fucking chance for me. I was invisible to h

  • Now I Do- Marrying My Fiance   THE LION'S DEN

Forty-five minutes later.I reach to this seemingly three-storey house located in a secluded area in the outskirt part of Nairobi. It's a gated area, and it's surrounded by a jungle. No neighbouring houses, not even one. It looks a bit old from afar, but not that old to be termed abandoned. This doesn't look like a house to live through. Maybe it has its purpose. It's the time!I dial Damian's number."Ellie?" He picks on the first ring."I can see it. I am going in now." I say through the microchip. This was his idea. I also have a gun perfectly hidden on my back, and the back is just around. They needed to keep their distance to avoid any risks. We can't afford to screw this up. "Before anything, love, your safety comes first. You remember our deal?" Damian speaks."Yes, love. Don't you worry. I got this." I respond."Okay. How is the scene? Anything you can see? Security?" "No. I can't see anyone and that's so weird. Anyway. I will update you once I get inside.""Okay. Be careful

  • Now I Do- Marrying My Fiance   COMPROMISED

It's seven at night, and I have never been this enthusiastically nervous. The inkling of being free from all these dilemmas is giving me goosebumps."Are you really sure we can trust that woman?" Damian asks as he pulls on his hoodie."We can. For some reasons, she was so different today. I don't know what striked her overnight. She looks kinda victimized, and afraid of her mother." I state."If Gracia is capable of all those things, then I doubt even her own daughter is safe around her." Damian responds."It's hard to believe that monsters like Gracia are living amongst us. We dined and whined with her for years. I knew she was capable of a lot of things, but I never thought it would be this much and horrible." I state."Don't worry, love. Tomorrow will be the end of her road, and a new dawn for us. You'll finally be able to live in peace." "I can't wait for that moment I will look her in the eye and tell her that I already know about all her crimes and make her pay for everything."

  • Now I Do- Marrying My Fiance   DISCLOSING SECRETS

We get into the car and lock the doors, the curiosity to know about this misery that has been surrounding my family for ages threatening to kill me, and the desire to end it itching me."So what happened? Did papa accept your mother when mom went out of the picture?" I ask."It was worse. Riccaford loathed my mother with so much passion, and even forbade her to even show her face to him."Huh? "Then?""My mother never gave up. So, on this particular day during their last day at a college party, she drugged your father."OMG! So, they had sex? And Nelly? Nelly was the fruit of that act? So, she is..."The alcohol and the drug rendered your father a deadbeat. He blacked out the whole night. My mother had sex with another guy that same night and returned to your father's room, and he made him believe that they had intercourse. I was the fruit of that night "Deep sigh! I feel a bit relieved."So, you are the reason why my father had been sending money to your mother's bank account over

"So, miss Riccaford, why do you want to buy a dead company?" Omar asks as I go through the documents."Mr Omar, I believe in second chances, and in getting up every time we fall. The fact that the company sunk to the ground under your management doesn't mean that it will do the same under mine." I respond."I love your way of thinking. You sure are really a Riccaford - strong, bold, oriented, and above all, beautiful inside and out.""Thank you, Mr Omar.""However, sometimes common sense is crucial. It still baffles me why a rich tycoon like you who is capable of buying the entire Nairobi city if you want, is interested in a dead company."Ooh, I see he has some brains left."Let's just say that I have the power, and the will to help a person who is in dire need like you, Omar. I know you are facing a lawsuit due to your incurring debts. Your own house is under the mortgage, but that won't cover even a quarter of your debts. The banks are on your neck, as well as hundreds of employees
