Henry's eyes were half lidded, and a bitter smile tugged at his lips.

Only the wearer knew where the shoe pinches.

Henry understood this truth well. Yet, it was still challenging to achieve an open mind about things when it concerned himself.

"Mr. Chase…" Amos cautiously called out after a brief pause.

"Yeah?" Henry responded. He was still seated in the wheelchair with his eyes closed and looked as though he were resting.

It wasn't physical fatigue that burdened him, but rather, a weariness of spirit.

"Mr. Chase, as you know, I come from a rural village, and there's a renowned healer there," Amos began cautiously.

"He specializes in studying various herbs and has helped many people overcome difficult illnesses. I don't know if it's hearsay, but others have told me that this healer has cured people with leg problems before."

A faint ripple of interest crossed Henry's previously calm expression.
