"It's just a gown. What's the big deal?" Henry showed no sign of remorse.

"It's not just a gown. It's the gown we're going to buy! Now that you've ruined it, how are we supposed to buy it?" Leslie glared at him angrily.

"You're buying that?" Henry scoffed.

He looked at Natalie and said, "Have you no pride at all, Natalie? You're making your friend buy you a gown?"

Henry was aware that Natalie could never afford a gown from this boutique with her income.

Leslie almost exploded. When she was about to start an argument, Natalie pulled her arm.

Then, Natalie asked Henry with a smile, "Perhaps you'll buy me this gown, Mr. Chase?

"Isn't there a saying about 'happy-go-lucky'? Since you're getting married soon, you should be in a pretty good mood. Why not spread the joy by buying your ex-wife a gown?"
