Once the confession left her lips, Olivia wasn't sure what she feared more: the possibility of making Logan angry or him sending her back to Noah.

Though Logan looked like a good man, she couldn't tell if he had any ulterior motives when it came to her.

All her life, Olivia had to be careful around people and hide her identity so that no one would think of using her against her parents.

But then again, Logan knew who she was, and it didn't look like he needed more money than he had, so Olivia dared to assume he wouldn't act like this was some kidnapping case.

Come to think of it, that was something she had to find out: how did Logan know who she was? Her parents had a habit of hiding her because of her unique looks, so there weren't many people who knew Olivia existed.

Logan had an expression on his face that Olvia couldn't read, yet when he muttered 'so that's why', she had to question him.

"Logan, may I ask how you know who I am? And what's why?" Olivia raised an eyebrow but t

that doesn’t make much sense the alliance was made when Noah was three and they started distancing themselves then. she was 15 before they took her in and Noah was already 21. I don’t see how that would apply to her when it was long forgotten the last 18 yrs

Landon led the way as his son followed in his footsteps. The old Alpha knew he had little to no power over the pack and his son after he handed down the title, but this wasn't a matter of power play. There was no way he would measure dicks with his son to decide which one of them was more powerful or wiser. Landon could bet his head on one thing: his son was a competent and reasonable Alpha. Logan didn't utter a word. He knew better than to confront his father out in the open. The hospital wasn't the right place to start something none wanted to finish, so both men had only one goal in mind- the office. And as they got closer, Logan couldn't shake off the feeling that something was terribly wrong. Though he tried to guess what it might be, Logan didn't believe the issue could be pack-related. No matter how desperately he tried to grasp on anything but Olivia's involvement in the issue his father might discuss, Logan couldn't. His father hadn't been acting like himself since Olivia

"You can resign from your position as the Beta once we get back home," Noah announced with zero emotions lacing his words. Enzo stood behind him while Anne gaped at him in panic. Noah was sure both of them expected he would blow up and go absolutely bonkers, but he didn't, which was why the tension between them was thick enough to be cut before their eyes. Anne shifted her weight on her feet, acting as if Noah's emotionless gaze burned her skin, but he didn't care. His aunt, the only sibling of his dead mother, had chosen where her loyalty stood, and it wasn't where it should be. As harsh as the words sounded in his mind, Noah had to voice them before he lost the courage. "You're out, Anne. For good." His aunt gulped as her eyes widened. She didn't need more explanations of what he meant, but Anne didn't expect Noah would go that far. Yet, then again, she didn't expect he would fly to England in hopes of finding Olivia either. "You can't," she whispered, trying to catch on his b

Logan turned out to be everything Olivia thought he wasn’t. Never, not even once, did he make her feel less than she was or like she wasn’t welcome. The Alpha made it his point to stay close to Olivia while she had to stay in the hospital. It seemed a little ridiculous how one wrong move had landed her under such intense care. However, after two full days under the careful observations of the hospital staff, Olivia was allowed to leave the hospital premises. Though she was excited about that, she had no idea where she would go after. It wasn’t like she didn’t have a home. She did, but the only home Olivia would agree to return to was in England. Sure, she could ask Logan to drive her to the nearest airport, but something in her gut kept nagging that it wouldn’t work. If Noah had already gone to England, she couldn’t know if he left or if he made sure some of his men were there, expecting her arrival. The pack? Ha, that was the last place anyone would see her ever again. The odd t

Was he serious? Did Logan just ask Olivia, who technically was supposed to be his enemy, to the biggest event of the year among shifters?Olivia glared at Logan as if he grew another head before her eyes. He had to understand how outrageous his request sounded, right?Besides, of all things he could offer, this had to be the one she didn’t want to acknowledge. How did he expect her to attend an event where she would meet the very man who had caused so much hurt?Anyone could call her a coward for as much as she cared, but Olivia didn’t want to face Noah. Not in this life or others. She shook her head. “I know I came across as a real brat earlier, but if you thought I would do something like that, you must understand that you have another thing coming for you. I’m trying to escape Noah, not jump in his arms. Not happening, sorry.” Logan observed her while Olivia braced herself for another line of questions or attempts to talk her into attending the event, but to her surprise, he shru

Logan furrowed his brows at Olivia. His eyes searched her until she couldn’t take the heat of his gaze, groaned and looked at the confused Alpha. The moment their eyes met, something inside Olivia moved. It was a brief moment which appeared as soon as it faded, but she hoped that it could have lasted a little longer. At least enough for her to understand the foreign feeling. “What do you mean by rank-less? I haven’t forgotten everything you told me, and I get that you weren’t Black’s biological daughter, but this doesn’t make sense. Everyone has ranks.” Logan crossed his arms in front of his chest as if he was trying to prove a point. Olivia wasn’t surprised by his reaction in the slightest. Whatever bit of her life she could remember, everyone who learned the bitter truth didn’t believe her. “That’s exactly what I mean,” Olivia muttered, far too determined to prove her truth. She didn’t understand the urge to prove him right. Logan was nothing but the rival pack Alpha. Yes, he w

  • Not your Luna   It’s on you, doll.

Olivia didn’t dare to protest or say anything as she followed the older Alpha. Maybe Logan was angry at her because of the disrespect she showed him? No one in their right mind turned their back on an Alpha and walked away. But then again, Olivia proved she wasn’t in her right mind because she had done the same thing two times in a row. First, she made a mistake by turning her back to Noah and now Logan. Whatever might be the punishment or consequences of her actions, she was ready to face them as anyone would. A part of her expected Landon to lead her back to the cells, so when he stepped outside the packhouse and headed towards a clearing, curiosity filled her mind. What was he up to now? They walked in silence until they got closer, and Olivia noticed their pack members gathering in the clearing. She furrowed her eyebrows, and Landon had to have the ability to read her mind because he answered her question before Olivia could ask it. “Our pack has a different structure than o

  • Not your Luna   A clean takedown.

Landon couldn’t believe his eyes, and maybe he looked ridiculous standing aside and rubbing his eyes like a madman, but the view didn’t change no matter how hard he tried to shake himself up. From the moment he saw the girl in his office, he knew something had to be up with her. Olivia Black was no ordinary wolf, and he’d be damned if he let anyone tell him otherwise. It wasn’t only about her looks, the exact replica of something he had heard only horror stories about, but her aura seemed off. She had an aura, yes, but hers was empty, void, and cold. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t wrap his finger around who she was and why Olivia didn’t give off any hint of her place in the pack. That is until Logan told his father about her confession. What didn’t make any sense was the horror, shock, and pure fear in Olivia’s eyes as she crawled away from Williams. The pack cheered for her because, holy shit, they had never seen someone take down an opponent half as quick as Olivia h

  • Not your Luna   Hey there, stranger.

An entire week had passed since the day Olivia stepped onto the territory of the pack that had been deemed as an enemy since she could remember herself. It wasn’t that long since she barely remembered the last couple of years of her life. But that part didn’t feel like it mattered the slightest since she never let herself dream that people who were painted as cruel and vicious might accept her like the Blue Moon pack members did. They made her feel as if she was a missing piece of their family. Surely, some pack members weren’t as fond of her as others, but that had to belong to the territory of being new somewhere. As always, where there was good also lurked some grey clouds of bad and misfortune. Yet, as much as she wanted to focus on the problems that seemed to surface, Olivia couldn’t allow herself to dwell on them for too long since there were more important matters to think about. For example, one of them was that even after spending a week in Landon’s territory, Logan stil

She fought back. Olivia tried her best to get out of the vicious claws of the rogues, but none of the men bothered to release her. At one point, she decided that maybe, if she screamed loud enough, someone could overhear her and try to help her, but the plan failed once the rogues stuffed her mouth with a dirty rag. Olivia’s eyes filled with tears. Not because of the men that were kidnapping her but because she barely resisted the intense urge to vomit her insides out. Trashing and any type of resistance didn’t help her case, so she gave up. For the time being. Wasting her energy was pointless, so she tried to think of a plan. Deep down, she hoped Noah would get to the place where she met the rogues soon. If he caught on their awful stench, there was a hope he might follow them and save her. Wasn’t that funny? The very man she escaped and tried to avoid was the only person who could save her from the monsters that were carrying her God knew where. Olivia tried to follow her surr

Noah couldn't believe what was happening. As much as he wanted to call Olivia dumb, he couldn't. Yet, he also couldn't understand what was happening in her mind. Olivia was supposed to hate him, to despise everything he did and said. She had to stay away from him. Wasn't that the purpose of everything he did? Wasn't Noah trying his best to stay away from her? He wouldn't mind spending another couple of months in the cabin just to ensure that she was comfortable in the place she once called her home.If his parents were still alive and knew anything about the mess he had created, they would most likely disown him. And the worst part was that Noah couldn't forgive himself. He had gone above and beyond and did everything in his power just to hurt Olivia. He was thrashing through the cabin, looking for the things he needed before he left, while the memories of his parents and their love for Olivia assaulted his mind. She was his father's favourite. Olivia was the daughter he never had

  • Not your Luna   Noah, please hurry.

Olivia was livid. She never thought of Noah as someone irresponsible, despite how egoistic and stupid he used to act. But now, he was a complete dick, knew it, acknowledged it, and yet, refused to drop the act of stupidity. When she stormed out of the packhouse, she was surprised to notice that Enzo wasn’t following hot on her heels. No, this time, he let her do whatever she wanted. As she crossed the nearby field children used as a football field, the pack members approached her to voice their gratitude for her returning to them. At first, Olivia stood aside, shocked, wondering why all those people were so happy to see her back, but she didn’t have to wait for long until the answers to her silent questions spilt from the pack members. Apparently, their Alpha had lost his mind once he understood Olivia was gone. Noah had sent multiple patrols out to look for her and went to unclaimed lands himself, fearing that she headed there. The fool risked his life to find her while O

A new day could be seen as a new adventure. Or at least that was what Noah’s mother claimed when he was a child. Although Noah did his best to believe those words, to try to see the world through the eyes of the woman who raised him – it didn’t work. There were no adventures, just self-doubt and hatred. During the time he spent in the cabin, Noah used the chance to reflect on his decisions. For the most part, he was sure things he did were done for the right reasons and always brought good for others. But not for Olivia. What he did to her was for selfish reasons. Heat in the moment decision that might have cost him everything. She didn’t want to stay. She didn’t want to see Noah ever again. And yet, he tried to force her to stay. Initially, it didn’t work. The mark obviously meant nothing to her; it didn’t hold her back and hostage in his pack. She left without looking back, without thinking about the possible consequences or the effect it might have on her. That’s how desper

  • Not your Luna   Together.

The only positive change in Olivia’s life was Enzo. She missed her friend more than she thought, and now that he stood near, the realisation slowly sank in. It took days, but once she adapted to the life in her previous pack, Olivia started leaving the bedroom more often and even offered her help to the cooks and maids. As she stood in the laundry room and folded warrior shirts, someone nudged her side. A slight smile spread across her lips once she recognised the scent. Enzo. “Hey there, stranger,” she whispered, still focusing on the pile of clothes in front of her. Sometimes, she wondered why she didn’t meet Noah. Enzo was around her quite often, but the man who insisted she returned, didn’t appear anywhere near her. If anything, Olivia expected Noah would follow in her footsteps and ensure no one approached her, but the opposite happened. Everyone could walk up to her and start a conversation – even when some men became too friendly, Noah didn’t show his face. “I was thinki

  • Not your Luna   No plan B or C.

Noah knew he was acting like a selfish bastard, but he couldn’t do anything to change how he felt or viewed things, no matter how hard he tried. Especially Olivia. Every time he looked at her, he felt the pull he couldn’t resist and after the run-in with the witch, the need to protect her grew thousand times more intense. Judging by the look on her face and her cold attitude, Olivia wasn’t happy about returning home, but Noah couldn’t allow that bastard Logan to flaunt his Luna as a shiny new toy. Olivia couldn’t know how that man was, how he acted or anything about his true antics, but Noah knew enough. Women came and went to Logan, he never bothered about anyone’s feelings until his were hurt. Noah felt sorry for Logan at times for the man had lost his rightful Luna, but while his father kept hiding his son’s doings, Noah witnessed more than once how easy it was for Logan to jump from one bed to another. If he didn’t know better, Noah would claim Logan never really mourned the

  • Not your Luna   Love me for me.

Olivia knew who the owner of the voice was even before she stepped away from Logan and turned around to face Noah. She had thought Noah left because of her sudden appearance or perhaps he felt hurt by the lies he had been told over the time. But he didn’t have the right to blame her. He drove her away, encouraged her to leave and marked her just to mock her for the newfound rogue role and her inability to stay away. Olivia proved she was more than capable to stay away from him. It was Noah who broke, it was Alpha Black who wasn’t capable of accepting defeat. Yet, against her best judgement, the only thoughts in Olivia’s mind were excuses she should give Noah. A part of her knew it was the worst idea ever to justify her actions or claim she had no feelings for Logan, which would be true, but the other part still wanted to watch Noah suffer. After all those years of mockery and bullying, he was getting what karma prepared for him, so Noah shouldn’t think he had the right to complain

  • Not your Luna   Let them stare.

Olivia couldn’t explain why her eyes sought out Noah for the rest of the evening even if she tried to. Her actions were like an instinct. The look on his face when she noticed Noah wasn’t anything Olivia thought she would see. Years ago, she would feed herself delusional ideas about her brother, missing her and being happy to see her. But now, she expected anger and resentment. None of those she saw. Hurt? Yes. Regret? Perhaps a hint of it. But what stood out the most was how miserable Noah looked. If she didn’t know better, Olivia would claim her supposed-to-be brother looked like someone who didn’t think he was worthy of standing under the same roof as her. “Olivia?” Logan’s voice startled her out of her thoughts, and her cheeks immediately turned bright red as she realised Logan’s eyes weren’t the only ones set on her. “Sorry,” she muttered. “I don’t feel good,” Olivia lied. She had no other choice but to come up with a bad, but believable lie. What would Logan and the othe

  • Not your Luna   When her eyes met Noah’s.

Noah followed the woman out of the building and closer to the woods. Deep down, he knew he might make the worst mistake of his lifetime, but what was one mistake compared to the mess he had already created? From the moment when her eyes met Noah’s, he knew Olivia was gone. The Olivia he knew, loved, and obsessed over was gone. In the place of the beautiful, cheerful, unreal fairy of a person stood a woman unknown to Noah. It wasn’t just the appearance that had changed, it was the aura that surrounded Olivia.Though under different circumstances Noah would assume the change was created by his doings, by the mark he left on her neck, he knew that wasn’t the case. Life wasn’t about him, the world didn’t revolve around him, and it was about time for Noah to accept as much. The woman in front of him started hissing something under her breath, pulling Noah out of the void of his thoughts. He didn’t pay much mind to her words until a particular one caught his attention. “Excuse you?” Noah
