I was already dressed and ready to leave when Kade suddenly barged in with the kids crying behind him.
“ Oh God, what happened?”
“ My father’s had a heart attack,” Kade said throwing his phone on the table.
“ You handle them please.” He said with pleading eyes before he removed his tie and headed upstairs.
I sat down on the couch and Dani and Damien ran to me crying their eyes out. It took so much from me to comfort them, they were so upset to miss their sleepover.
Kade returned from his room dressed in a red sleeve shirt and jeans, he picked up his keys and left without saying another word.
