Raising a brow at him, Jacob asked. “Is there anything I don’t know about?”

“Well…” Jackson shrugged slightly. “Aside from the fact that father had mismanaged the mob family after you left, I don’t think there's much to catch up with.”

Jacob’s facial expression gradually turned into a scowl. “Mismanaged? Are you saying the old man lost his touch?”

“Apparently, he doesn’t have what it takes to be the leader of a mob anymore,” Jackson replied. “The last time I visited the mob house, there were less than 20 in there. So scanty, I couldn’t even stomach it.”

“Good for him.” Jacob blurted out insensitive, that was when Jackson realized that even though his twin brother had renounced his shrewdness, coldness, and ruthlessness, he was still insensitive and remorseless to certain things. Which includes their father.

“If we later find Anna, will you forgive him?” He found himself asking but Jacob didn’t reply and he changed the conversation.
