Nora POV

The voice boomed, sending shivers down everyone's spine. Well, all of the guards and Aria except me. I was still a Lycan and these people were just werewolves. I was only intimidated when I hadn't gotten my training.

Not anymore.

I looked up to see Carlos father, Viker Alberto, walking furiously toward Aria. Before Aria could say anything, a crispy slap resonated in the air. It was followed by a successions of slaps to all the guards around her.

Aria whimpered, away from Viker Alberto with reddened eyes and clenched fist. I would have laughed if I wasn't the one on the receiving end. She looked like an overripe tomatoes at its sour state.

“ You dare imprison my beta and his family without the royal consent? How dare you!" Viker Alberto growled, his eyes turning darker.

Aria's pupils dilated as she made backwards move, unable to utter a word. It was as though Viker Alberto's aura suppressed her arrogance. I watched as she tried to speak, finally she spoke.

NORA POV "My patience is running out," I spat, my voice low and even. Carlos smiled. Then he whispered to me."Mine too, Nora. I want to know why you chose the pendant I saw on the cliff as yours instead of the one you gave me.” “ That's because it's mine. I don't know how you got the other one but the broken pendant is mine. Why don't you confirm it with my parents?" I asked, scoffing. “ You still haven't answered my question, Nora. I found this broken pendant at the cliff. How did the pendant you gave me ended up at the cliff, broken if you are not a traitor?" I seethed, my anger boiling over like a pot about to overflow. And then, I couldn't hold it in anymore as I blurted out with how he rejected me months ago. The room fell silent, all eyes on me. Carlos' smile faltered, and for a moment, I saw a flicker of confusion in his eyes. But then, his expression hardened, and he sneered at me. "What has my rejection got to do with this!" he spat, his voice rising. As the words le

NORA POV“ This is not funny, Nora. I know I am guilty of rejecting you but how could you accuse me of causing your attempted suicide?" Carlos asked, breathing heavily. " Attempted suicide? Did you just say attempted suicide?” I asked, scoffing. But as I wanted to continue, I heard the whispers from the crowd and I began to regret lying when I just came back. " Yes. That's what she said at the last gathering when she came back”" Exactly. How could she accuse the Alpha of wanting to kill her when she was the one who wanted to die?”" Such a vile person!”" Even if the Alpha rejects her, she doesn't have to accuse him of attempted murder. That's absurd!”As the whispers continued, I stared at Carlos. His expression was still far from admitting his wrong. He looked at me as if I was the liar here. How could he be so cruel?“ Carlos, are you this heartless?" I finally let out, breathing heavily as I watched Carlos's face turn red with rage. "You're lying! I would never try to kill you

NORAI looked up at my father and mother as they moved closer to me, baring their fangs at the people who wanted to harm me. All the hurtful emotions I felt earlier, the betrayal and hatred all washed away at the singular act of the people who had raised me as their own.I watched as they went against their pack, just to protect me. They had always been kind and supportive, but I had never expected them to defy the pack's wishes just for me. I know how much my father respects the Pack's rules and regulations.“ She is a traitor! Why should we spare her?" Someone asked from the crowd. I was sure it was one of Aria's minions. "Traitor? Do you have proof? When has it become a norm in this pack that a person can just be charged without proof?" my father growled, his voice firm and authoritative. "You can't just kill her without a trial. That's not our way."Viker Alberto also nodded, waving his hands to the growling crowd. "She is not a traitor until she is proven to be. For now Nora is

THIRD POVAlpha Carlos had a grim expression on his face as they walked away from the Lycan camp at the border. He couldn't help but feel a sense of confusion and unease. The King's accusations of kidnapping his daughter made no sense to him. They didn't even know who the Lycan princess was, let alone have any reason to kidnap her. He was sure this was the handwork of those jealous alphas.“ Kayden, do you have any Intel on the lost princess?" Alpha Carlos asked his gamma.“ I think Justin is in charge of that-"“ Where the hell is Justin? He is supposed to be here with me," Alpha Carlos queried.Although he knew Justin must be angry at him for what transpired between himself and Nora, he was still the beta of the kingdom.“ Justin is with the other warriors, guarding the women and children to a safe place in case the Lycans decide to invade," Kayden said, pausing as he took a glance at Alpha Carlos.“ -And he doesn't want to see me because of Nora, right?” Alpha Carlos muttered, bit

Besides, I wouldn't want to put you in danger. You don't have to worry. I can take care of myself.”It took the effort of my father before my mother finally let me go. I made my way through the winding road, my heart racing with excitement and a hint of fear. Something didn't feel right as I walked along the bushy paths. Living with her foster parents who she still believed were her biological parents, she found her footing once more as she began to bond with them and those that were around her as she lived her normal life. “Nora!” Her mother has called. “I'm coming, please hold on.” She yelled back at her and when she finished the task she was working on, she rushed to join her. “I'm sorry, I had to tidy up.” She said, rubbing her hand on her forehead.Smiling lovingly at her, her mother held her cheek with a hand while using the other to trace the outline of her jaw. “I wish you we

For a moment, the world seemed to have gone still as I stared at the people in front of me. Back at the forest, Karen had died in my hands and then Carlos' whimper made me run to his side only for him to breathe his last almost immediately. Taking in a deep breath, I pushed my hand into my hair, trying to speak but I couldn't find my voice. “What is going on here?” I asked, alternating my gaze from Elder Silvarum to Carlos with a relieved look on my face but at the same time I was curious and shocked. Not saying a word to me, Elder Silvarum tightened his grip on Carlos who was standing next to him. Ignoring my curious mind, I ran to meet with Carlos with a bright smile on my fac

Taking his gaze off the fighting wolves, he allowed them to land on Karen who was lying on the ground weakly. He was headed to his pack's territory, his mind preoccupied with the recent events. But as he turned a corner, he suddenly found himself face to face with a shocking surprise. He halted abruptly, trying to understand what was playing out in front of him. Aria was killed with her father together with Lycan rogues who wanted to wipe out his pack but here she was standing at the borders. Blinking his eyes, he said, “You are supposed to be dead, what are you doing here?” He asked, still trying to understand what was going on. Reader's POVJust before Karen could hit her with the deadly blow, Queen Dione leapt into the air, pushing him off Nora, hence shielding her from the impact. After this, Queen Dione fell to the ground with a thud as she let out a low wince while Karen stood aside baring his canines. The force which Karen had released, an ordinary lycan even if it was poisonous doesn't possess such power. Shaking the thought off her head, Nora fell next to her mother, as she tried to make her sit up but her mother was weak, thanks to the encounter she had with Karen a while ago. From the look of things, Nora was quick to realize that Karen was not the same one she knew before. Snapping my eyes shut, I parted my lips, “Carlos please, we have to do this.” I said with a tone of urgency. “If you delay, it's going to be disastrous.” I said in a bid to convince him. “I'm not rejecting you Nora!” He said with a chuckle that made me at ease. “I was taken aback with the sudden request, that's all.” He shrugged and once again, I let out the breath I had been holding back as I anticipated what he was going to say to me. “ Another thing, we need to seal the bond at the cave of the goddess." "Here, at the goddess cave?" Carlos asked, his eyes widening in surprise."Yes, it's the only place we can be sure our bond will be recognized by the gods and there is another meaning to it too," I explained.Rubbing my forehead, I wanted to explain the reason why I brought up the suggestion but he just smiled in understanding. Nora's POVIt was now two weeks since the death of my father and all I can say was, the days were getting longer and longer. Mother had regained consciousness and I was happy about it but still I was aggravated as I kept blaming myself for the death of my father. "Mother, I'm so glad you're awake," I said, tears of joy streaming down my face as I hugged her tightly."Nora, my child," she whispered, her voice weak but full of love. "I'm so proud of you. You're strong, just like your father."I nodded, my resolve hardening. "I will make sure those responsible for his death pay, Mother. I vow to wipe out every last one of the Ancient clan."My heart was heavy with grief but my spirit burning with determination. I would see this through, no matter what it took. The Ancient clan would pay for what they had done.During these two weeks it had been Carlos who had been by my side, otherwise, I would have lost my sanity long ago. I couldn't think straight anymore but he was there to help and

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    Death...

Nora's POVNodding slowly, Elder Callum said, “Karen is Alpha Jasper's son.” “Then he must be a one of the poisonous rogues. How come we didn't find out about it much early.” I ratted out as my heart beat increased. Terrified, I began to clench and unclench my fists as I thought of what Karen must have done, knowing that he was a poisonous Lycan. Just when I was about to start running my mouth, Elder Callum stepped up, “You don't have to worry about it too much. There is no way Karen would turn into a poisonous Lycan.” He said in a carefree manner that made me raise my brow at him. He said it himself that Karen was the grandson of Alpha Draco then he must definitely be a poisonous Lycan, what was he insinuating. “Karen was raised here and not in the Ancient Clan so he is not poisoned.” He took a pause before he continued. “The only way he can get poisoned is if he gets hold of that pendant…” I listened intently as Elder Callum revealed the shocking truth about Kaden. "So, he's

With Carlos now rendered invalid, I thought I would be able to raze down his pack to the ground only to be faced with a dangerous twist. As if that was not enough, Carlos was wheeled forward and immediately I let out a loud laughter filled with anger and regret. “I should have killed you when I had the chance.” I yelled, baring my canines at him. With my hand stuck in my hair, I sent my teeth into my lips, biting it with no mercy as anger ran through my veins. If only I had remembered that Carlos had an alliance with the members of the Blue Lycan Kingdom, I wouldn't have left a breath in him. Now, there was no use crying over spilled milk. It's time to restrategize and come up with the perfect solution. With this in mind, I stepped forward and with an intimidating look and gaze, I yelled, “You are Lycans, why are you allowing a mere werewolf to be in charge of you?” I yelled, gl
