As he cleared the shoes aside, Madison saw a greenish glow come from the tile board underneath. “This is so weird,” Madison said. He then noticed that the tiles were loose and started moving them out of the way. Soon he saw the same stone case that plagued him in his mind. He lifted the case out of the compartment and dusted it off.
“Really? The thing’s locked,” Madison said, as he tried to open the case.
“Madison?” Lawrence’s voice came from downstairs. “I’m home. The nurse called me today and said that you were sick.”
“Oh, crap,” Madison said, as he rushed out of Lawrence’s room. He had made his way to his own room, where he had taken the case with him and hid it under his bed.
“Madison, are you up there?” Lawrence said, as she started to climb the stairs.
“Yeah, I’m in my room,” Madison said. “Dang it, why did I say that?&rdquo
A new, unfortunate case in Maine proved to be a timely distraction for April G’s thoughts about her eternal battles with the old witch. Reports of people being murdered in bizarre ways had reached the Agency and it was almost certain that supernatural was involved. Madison was chosen to be on the case and on the following day, she was scheduled to meet Lady for the instructions. “How are you getting on?” Lady asked casually. “Well, let us see… An evil witch has been haunting my dreams and now I often seem to be lost in thoughts and blanking out,” Madison replied. “April G, I have been told about that and I must tell you; only ‘you’ can beat Zai. No one else can help you with this,” Lady said. “I know and I am doing everything I can,” she replied. “Perhaps you are tired. Have you been taking rest properly?” he asked. “Eating properly, check! Full health regime, check! Concentration exercises, check and Fitness training, check! Am I miss
Once inside the library, Meredith helped them find another book.“The Fervour Spell. It’s the only way to kill the Monster.” June read. “It’s a very strong spell and it can hail a firestorm.”Meredith knew all the spells, but she could not cast spells like Madison could. Meredith had super strength, super speed, and could heal quickly. Madison was in possession of the book, but she was not an expert on casting spells. The only way they could do this was by joining hands.“The monster is sneaky. It disguises very well as it can change its colour and texture. Usually, it finds its victims near its hideout, and you can only kill it inside its hideout,” June read on.“So, all we have to do is follow him to his hideout and cast a spell,” Madison said, laughing lightly.“I guess you won’t have to if it saw you. It will abduct you anyways and take you to its hideout,” Mere
Compared to the cold night air, a roof above her head is a blessing and she profusely thanked the other for saving her and bringing her here. “No problem, little one. I am Palio. And you?” “I’m Madison’” Madison caught herself in saying her full name. Of course, her family exiled her from her house. She is no longer a Wilde. She frowned and aggressively ate her dinner the other prepared. “Just April G.” “Little Miss April G, I see. A beginner witches.” Madison paused at that and turned to her. “How did you…” Palio smiled and placed a hand upon her chest and confidently answered. “I know a lot regarding your predicament. I will help you out. Also, you’re welcome to stay with me here, too. “April G’s eyes sparkled at that. She was thankful of Palio’s kindness and when the other confessed that she was also a witch, a warmth coated her chest at the added companion.Hm. I am not one to impede your decisions, little witch. It is amusing to expect the unexpected. But I would tread carefully
The woman let out an exasperated sigh before her eyes hovered on April G, who froze at the eye contact. She then smiled and loomed over. [Videtur quod te salvum me. Qui ut tibi sit?] –she said but Madison remained stiff on her spot. The woman tuts and hums before clearing her throat. She stared at the child’s temple and straightened, as if realizing something. “It seems that Latin is no longer a widely spread language. No wonder the bats got your tongue.” She bowed. “Greetings. I am Zai. I have been trapped in this book for decades, but now I am free. You freed me.” A smile. “I am now a being bonded to your soul. You and I are one now, little witch. You shall never be lonely again.” Zai? Little witch? Madison snapped out and shook her head. “I- I don’t know what you’re talking about. How were you trapped in that… thing and why are you calling me a witch?! I’m not a witch!” “Well, you could see the runes in this book, no? And I am positive that you heard

April G and raced he is her son, wrapping her arms around his back and shedding in tear of joy and a luscious smile. Now come on, Madison said. Let us go save our worlds. June visits The Pearl, a local restaurant in New Orleans where June’s girlfriend, Beverly works as a server. June kicks back as he listens to his favorite song playing from the juice box,” When the saints come marching in”, drinking his drink of choice, raspberry-lime tea. " Here’s your catfish with smoked ochre handsome!” Beverly said as she lays down his favorite meal. " Thanks, gorgeous!” June says as he cuts in the catfish and starts to lift the fork up to his mouth. Only to have Beverly take out a checkbook and slam the food back down one plate to June’s surp
Little did she know that the visions he was seeing with be the only thing keeping him and rest of his classmates from trouble. Madison walks down the hallway heading to the Nurse’s Office. “At least I won’t be caught dozing off in class anymore.” Madison says. Then a sinister growl came from the background. “Who’s there?” Madison said. He turns around to see a hazy fog untensing the hallways behind him. “Hello?” Madison says. Then a flash revealing a nightmarish dragon appears before Madison, opening its mouth and knocking Madison on the ground. Madison catches his breath as the image disappears allowing him to stand up. “Man, that was weird.” Madison said. He turned around only to end up walking into another person and being knocked down again. “Hey, there new kid.” Martin says towering over Madison. “You again?” Madison said picking himself up. “You should have stayed with the doc, dweeb.” Martin says as he punches his fist into his other ha
As the crusaders faced off against the Zealots of the black circle, Michael and Vanessa struggled to keep the doorway open for the crusaders exit and into our world. " You’re doing great sweetheart,” Michael told his wife.” We just must keep going for a little longer. " Okay, I’ll do my best” Vanessa answered while maintaining her grip on the portal. Then a clutter of Hell Bats swarm into a large ring around them as the struggle to keep the portal open. " You should have stayed in Noire, Chrome Angels,” Palio’s voice uttered as her body levitated through the thick cloud of his hell bats. " Stay back you witch,” Vanessa shouted. " Ah don’t be too broken hearted over the reincarnation,” Palio said with a grin.” It served its purpose.” " It was our daughter! She had a name,” Vanessa screamed.” Her name was Beverly.” Upon outering her daughter’s name, Palio felt a sharp pain in her chest and kneeled covering the left side o

Back in Olivia’s hometown, Norton Salem Cult and his wife Elizabeth were packing their bags. Norton tried to comfort Elizabeth as tears rolled down her eyes. “This was bound to happen,” he said. “I know, but she’s so young,” she replied, chocking on her words. Years ago, Norton had made the decision to leave the Coven forever. His mother, who was also a witch, had told him that he was making a mistake. However, Norton had made up his mind. Elizabeth didn’t want to have anything to do with the twisted world of magic and he loved her far too much to let her go. The book, nevertheless, was supposed to go with him. It was his baggage to bear. He was the only heir. He had tried to bury it as deep as he could but he had known all along that it would resurface. It was a legacy impossible to get rid of. The right person in his blood line would find it automatically. Little did he know that it would be his daughter Olivia. The curse of the Salem Cult had returned to haunt his child. He coul
Seconds later she felt like she was spinning in a whirlwind, being lifted upwards. Suddenly, her feet touched the ground. When she opened her eyes she and William were inside the premises of a huge building; The School of Paranormal Arts.“We will go to the dorms now and while on our way, I will show you around,” William said.Olivia was astonished by the strange world around her. The school was huge. She peered into the rooms as she walked in the hallway with William.“This is the right place for you. Here you are safe and you can practise your craft with freedom. Besides, no one will ever judge you here.” William tried to reassure her.Olivia nodded. Most of the young people at school seemed to be enjoying their time. She looked at the two guys sitting in a garden talking to a huge crab.“They are Ben and Zac and that’s Nelly, their pet crab. She is also their subject of study. They are experimenting with their mind control skills.” William explained.Olivia watched as one of the tw
William Morris sat in a busy café, alone. He was expecting his partner Allan any minute. Allan was running late as usual and William wished that this time it would be because he had a lead on the case. However, as soon as Allan entered the café, looking somewhat dishevelled and walking with a slight limp, William lost all his hope. Allan walked over to him and took a seat opposite to him.“You look like you have been outsmarted once again,” William said with disappointment.“I could use some food, I am starving,” Allan grunted easing himself in the chair. After a short while, a waitress approached and the two men ordered some food.“So?” William asked.“Well, they left no clue. I got the wrong person. They had charmed her into playing a decoy and I fell for it. The next thing I know is they had disappeared into thin air.” Allan explained.“Damn, we really need to do something about this. The bosses are not going to like this,” William said with obvious irritation.“I know Bill,” Allan
And now she ran for her life, with two goons targeting her in the night. She raced up to a civilian and tugged his sleeve, hoping to grab his attention. However, when this man turned, Olivia blinked when she saw a blank face. No eyes or mouth- just skin. She stepped back, but hearing the footsteps of her pursuers, she fled.Olivia’s heart pounded while she sprinted through the streets, not caring if she bumped into people along the way. She didn’t look up, afraid of what she might see.The girl entered an alley and expected she wouldn’t be spotted, but ever since she opened that book, things hadn’t gone her way. She reached a dead end and began to make a reverse turn but the guys blocked her path.“Nowhere to run, little miss.” One of them smirked and edged closer with each step she took. “We’re going to have some fun.”Olivia’s heart hammered against her chest and her back hit the dead end. She closed her lids, ready to accept her fate as they crept closer. But her trembling lips mut

Don’t worry, sweetheart. Come with me and I’ll take real good care of you.” He reached out to Olivia but she stepped back.“We could do this the easy way or the fun way, kid.” The man licked his lips. “The other day I loved the fun way.”Olivia pushed the man away and raced away. Villagers saw this scene, but ignored it. Olivia frowned, wondering why no one intervened. *** Imagine this started because of a book that

Next day, the girls visited Maddie and she started to work on her spell once again. This time Maddie’s spell pointed her in the direction of the woods but she wasn’t entirely sure if it was the Crypt Keeper or something else. The girls quickly left for the woods; they had to find it and stop it before it struck again. William was out to see a police officer who was Amber’s close friend and they couldn’t wait for him.Once in the woods, Olivia, Meredith and Jill started looking around but everything seemed really normal. As they walked further down they heard a faint, muffled sound among the trees. They followed in the direction of the sound and as they got closer, they were shocked to see Gregory, sitting in his wheel-chair. He was gagged and his hands were tied down. The girls hurried to help him. They untied his hands quickly.“Watch out,” Jill screamed suddenly.Olivia turned around and saw a zombie standing face to face, staring at her in rage. As it moved closer to Olivia, Meredi
