The king ordered the Prince Licht to be stripped of his regal clothes, blessed at the temple for his mother’s sake, then escorted to the border where the prince was waiting for him.

“I told you that wasn’t a good idea,” his servant said to him.

Prince Licht looked at her, then sighed, “No one told you to come with.”

She laughed and gave him another hug. “I wish I could go with you, but the king has forbidden me. Be brave, my boy. I don’t think there is anything the dark elves can do to you that will stop you.”
