The annual celebration has started, and Dawn is busy hosting guests, especially relatives and extended family from the Ericson side. Tiara is helping, although she’s mostly stationary since she isn’t supposed to move around too much. The Ericson couple, on the other hand, are busy mingling with their partners and clients.

“Sis! You don’t have to climb the stairs to help with the kids. They’ve got nannies for that!” Tiara calls out, concerned as she notices Dawn fussing over the children upstairs, bringing juice and snacks even though there are plenty of servants available.

But Dawn, being Dawn, keeps checking on the kids—it’s her way of staying close to thoughts of her own child. She holds a tray of ice cream and fruit jelly cake and heads toward the staircase. She’s glad that everyone has their own tasks until the after-party begins. Tiara is handling makeup and outfits for the women, and Dawn has been in charge of giving tours and showing the pregnant women their facilities. Now,

"Hi!" Jack softly waves his hand as Dawn approaches with a glass of milk for Janet. She finds herself growing more fond of the little girl, who isn’t a picky eater or a messy one—a rare trait in children. Janet, on her best behavior, finishes her meal and eagerly waits for her milk as dessert. Dawn’s heart warms at the sight. She can’t help but compare Janet to Asher, who is just as particular about food as his father. Travis refuses to eat anything outside a short list of dishes. Even when he’s away most of the time, he still demands she cook for him whenever he returns, brushing aside the efforts of their chefs. Lately, though, Travis doesn’t even acknowledge her presence like he used to. The growing distance gives her plenty of time to think about how she will leave him behind for good. She no longer wants revenge, even though he has betrayed her love and allowed another woman to tear apart their family. Still, she knows that seeing Spring—the woman Travis can’t seem to get o

In her previous life, nothing like this ever happened to her, but—there had been rumors about some drunk people trying to enter one of their rooms. That means in this life, it happened, and she became the victim. While trembling, her hands keep rubbing her belly. When that man pushed her against the bed, he pressed her belly to control her hands, so it's hurting a bit. Feeling utterly distraught and disgusted by the incident, she curls herself into a ball and keeps sobbing. "I’ll call the doctor. You take some rest," Travis says while covering her with the blanket. She doesn’t want to be alone right now. "You need something?" he asks, his voice gentle as he presses the

The lack of sleep has left him with a throbbing headache, and the earlier incident still lingers in his mind, fueling his rage. He knows he won’t feel any peace until he sees those culprits punished. Splashing cold water on his face, he glances at his reflection in the mirror. His thoughts are interrupted by the sound of the door opening. "Did you fight with Dawn? She’s in the dining room, devouring a huge bowl of ice cream," Jim says, leaning casually against the doorframe. Travis dries his hands with a towel and turns toward his brother. "No. She’s probably just craving it." Jim raises a skeptical brow. "You can fool everyone else, but not me. I raised you, remember?" He grins and claps Travis on the shoulder. "She’s pregnant, Travis. Stressing her out won’t help—" Jim’s words trail off as he notices something on Travis’s chest. Narrowing his eyes, he moves to pull back Travis’s shirt sligh

The party ends without any further incidents. Tiara apologizes to Dawn for her earlier behavior, but Dawn brushes it off, knowing it wasn’t Tiara’s fault. Meanwhile, Jim takes over handling the remaining responsibilities after Travis excuses himself, citing a headache. After changing into comfortable clothes, Dawn decides to take another shower. She dislikes the lingering smell of wine on her skin. However, when she steps out of the walk-in closet, she notices Travis lying on the couch. His expression is tense and pained. Taking a deep breath, she reminds herself that sometimes she must fulfill her duties as a wife. And, as a decent human being, she doesn’t want to be cruel. Quietly, she heads to the kitchen to brew some tea. The aroma of ginger wafts through the air, stirring Travis, who glances in her direction. She’s gained some weight, he notes, unable to look away. But because she has a history of harming others, I managed to get a restriction order against her until her case is resolved. "My Lady!" Dawn flinches at the sound of a female voice behind her. The running faucet muffles the words, but she turns to find a female waitress standing there. Before Dawn can say anything, the waitress places a folded piece of paper on her purse and quickly leaves the restroom. Confused, Dawn picks up the note and glances at it. Her expression hardens, but she remains silent. Moments later, some of her classmates enter the bathroom. Among them is Nora Brown, her unmistakable presence commanding the room. Not wanting to waste energy on people she deems unimportant, Dawn turns to leave. But just as she reaches the door, a hand blocks her path. "So, you got pregnant!" Nora’s smirk widens as she shoves Dawn against the wall. "I wonder if the man who knocked you up knows how worthless you really are." Dawn gently shields her belly, her expression calm and composed. Her lack of reaction only fuels Nora’s rage. "Nora!" one of her underlings hisses, glancing nervously at the

What can they do now? Play petty games and act like bullies again? Dawn exhales sharply, her fingers gripping the edge of her phone as Travis's message flickers on the screen. His words carry a weight of guilt and concern. He has arranged for her to attend the reunion with bodyguards. She wants to be angry at him for being so overprotective, but deep down, she knows his actions stem from love. He’s been working himself to the bone, determined to clear his schedule before the final month of her pregnancy. The pressure he carries is palpable, his desire to protect her and their unborn son consuming him. After everything they’ve endured—the threats, the near-misses—he refuses to take any risks. Dawn sets her phone down, her chest tightening. She wishes Travis could be here tonight, but she doesn’t dwell on the thought for long. Tiara, stepped in at the last moment, eager to take his place. "What's the name of that bar?" Brewing teas for both of them, Travis asks in a serious tone, his hands steady. "I don't know. I don't remember!" Dawn shrugs as if it’s unimportant, though her fingers fidget against the table. "But I can gather other information!" Travis nods quietly, his eyes narrowing slightly. "So, you’ve been investigating things!" "Yeah. What did you think? That I would sit back and do nothing?" she snaps, her voice sharp but controlled. "I was planning to raise my baby away from everyone. And once he turned into an adult, I’d return home to kill you and her!" Travis’s eyes widen slightly. "Excuse me?" His brows arch, and he straightens in his seat. "You aren’t killing anyone!" "Relax," she says, waving a dismissive hand. "It’s just angry, intrusive thoughts. All I want is to see Spring and whoever the bastard is, suffering." "Same target," Travis mutters, pouring the hot tea into two delicate cups—the same tea she used to brew for him during calmer tim

She tries to zoom in on the picture to look closely at the necklace, but she accidentally swipes to the next picture. Although she told Holden to investigate the sushi bar, her thoughts stay stuck on that matter. She understands that Spring is a crazy woman who would do anything to get what she wants. After returning from that café, Dawn notices the group chat is lively. Since today, there are a few messages from the admin on dates and locations, nothing else. "I am going on a date this weekend!" "How nice! Is he a good person?" "Yes... He said he would take a few days off to meet me." Standing in the lobby, Travis unintentionally listens to his employees' conversation. His expression shifts to curiosity as he watches that employee's face. She looks happy about going on a date. "I never went on a date with Dawn!" he mutters, wondering what people do on a date. When he was dating Spring, he was busy with his studies and other things. He has never been on a date before. "Boss!" His assistant walks toward him. "The meeting will start after the lunch break." "Okay. Inform everyone." "Okay, Boss!" Travis takes his phone out. Usually, he doesn't call Dawn at this hour, but recently he feels a strong urge to talk to her. "Should I ask her if she wants to go on a date with me? But can a pregnant woman go on a date?" While pressing her phone number, he keeps wondering. Then he squints his eyes, thinking about searching it online.

"Reunion Party? I didn't hear anything about it!" The tranquility of the night is disrupted as Travis sneakily slides his hand into hers, intertwining their fingers. They walk through the park, holding hands, bathing in the dazzling silver moonlight. Dawn looks surprised at his gesture but stays silent, a hint of blush appearing on her cheeks. Travis has never been good with affection; his silent gestures suit him well. Still, it's endearing to see him panic before taking action. "In our previous life, I got invited but decided not to go. This time, I was added to the group for the first time. I think something changed! I wasn’t added to a group chat before!" Dawn says. "Maybe you didn’t notice.
