The location
Brid
I checked Han's location through my watch. He was moving through the dock. Probably carrying the boxes along with the other men. At a certain point, he stopped. But minutes later, he began to move again. This time I noticed that he was moving quickly. My heart began to beat intensely. This was no turning back. Knowing that Han was on his way to where those humans were keeping the women kidnapped did something to me. I was nervous and anxious. I feared for Han's safety. Not knowing the horrors we might face was the worst. Bu
Now It's My Turn Brid Mary and I were exhausted. We have walked for an eternity. But the good thing is that we were getting closer. A few more minutes down the road, we stumbled upon what we were looking for. My eyes were wide open observing what was in front of me. Mary stopped short next to me. I felt how she squeezed me tightly as she grabbed my hand. This place generated terror only to see it. The suffering of all these women permeates the air. The smell was suffocating. I came to the realization that in truth, not only humans were being trafficked. I could feel my own race here. Slowly
The compound Brid Leaf detected something, and from the smell, it was most likely field rats. Leaf would never pass up a meal, no matter what it was. I had no problems either. The concept of selecting food is completely human. We werewolves are aware that finding food in the wild can be difficult. We have to secure our food and that is why we cannot afford to refuse anything. Leaf approached the rat hole and waited patiently for something to happen. I could hear movement. The incredible ability of wolves to hear is admirable. Leaf was above the hole waiting when the unlucky rat stuck its head out to survey its surroundings. But Leaf didn't give it time to do that. Her snout with her sharp teeth descended directly
We're getting close Kael "This way." Christopher pointed his nose in the direction we were to go. It's been several days now that we've been tracking Brid and Han. Every minute that passes I'm more worried about their safety. With everything, I've learned about them to date. I'm afraid they're planning something that will put their lives at risk. But as much as I think about why I end up empty-handed. It is as if they had prepared for war. In our wolves, we follow Christopher
The Signal Brid Everything is going to be alright. Everything is going to be alright. Everything is going to be alright. When I'm about to lose my mind, this is the mantra I repeat over and over again. It has now been two days since Han last communicated with me. The knuckles of my hands ache from so much snapping my fingers in anguish. Not only have those factors contributed to my stress, but I'm also worn out from not getting enough sleep. What if something happened to Han? Why hasn't he contacted me? We agreed that he would let me know if he had any news, but if he doesn't let me know by tomorrow I'll have to take action. I was like a caged animal walking from one side to the other in the cave. Nothing could take away this terrible feeling. If only Kael were here, things would be easier. He would know what to do. Kael, my love. For several days now he has been
I made it Brid I was hiding behind some bushes that were near the back door. Unfortunately, I couldn't transform to sneak away easier. Everything that I had carried in my body, had to remain as it was. That's why I couldn't transform. In my human form, I had to find the best way to infiltrate. If they were to see me, our plan would fail to leave hundreds of women in the hands of these kidnappers. After I came out of the cave, I immediately went to stand guard. After a while of waiting, I managed to see how the gate opened, and a truck came out of the compound. They had finally gone to the dock to pick up and transport the women here. There was very little left for the action to begin. My stomach ached from nerves. I had never faced something like this. Furthermore, I had no training in anything and
What Now?BridA lone tear spilled from my eye. It ran from my cheek to my neck. The sadness I was experiencing was brutal. The suffering of those poor women was crushing my insides. Now more than ever I wanted to destroy these kidnappers. Then, I will leave their bodies out in the open to be devoured by beasts of the forest. They did not deserve to be buried. I took another look around, trying to find a place where I could hide. Inside the complex, there was another gate that enclosed a long, two-story building. Notic
Monica Brid I rolled out from under the truck and stopped immediately. Like a gazelle, I ran until I reached the metal door that Han had told me about. My heart was beating wildly. I flattened myself against the wall to try to be less visible. A few seconds later, I looked at the door handle. I took it with trembling hands and turned it over. It opened with a click. With wide eyes, I contemplated it for a second. Then I opened the door slowly
The nursery Brid This was the laundry room. There were washing machines and areas for handwashing. Four women were fixing clothes that were coming out of one of the washing machines. We crossed the place until we reached another door that was at the end of the laundry room. As we crossed it, the smell of children filled my nostrils. We were approaching a place where they had several children concentrated. It was obvious from the smell. We climbed some stairs until we reached the place. The door had a window through which you could see inside. Monica pointed her finger at me telling me to peek out. As I did, I saw through the glass that it was some kind of nursery. I counted about twenty children. They were being guarded by a guard and two women who were attending to them. “This is the place where they put children that are ready to be sold
