“What are you doing?” Jeanette frowned, her expression filled with discontent. Her lips had gone numb from his biting. It was nearly bleeding.

“Shouldn’t I be asking you that question? What have you and Xavier been doing?” Damon asked with a frown, clearly incensed.

Jeanette hung her head. “What could I possibly do? He’s an assistant, I’m the CEO. Professional stuff, obviously.”

“Stop avoiding the subject. He told me you kissed. What is going on? How did he end up kissing you?” Damon rubbed her lips, gently stroking her soft mouth. His face filled with intense annoyance.

Jeanette quickly explained, “That’s none of my business. Who knows what’s gotten into him? He kissed me out of the blue. But I promise I pushed him away at once!”

Damon narrowed his eyes, and they flashed dangerously.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” He nearly had a stroke. He felt a wave of raging anger in his chest when Xavier told him everything. He would have punched him in the face if his legs were working.
