Chapter 106: Just One Shot

"Eve, as much as I admire your willingness to fight, you need to stay here and build up your strength." I chuckled, shaking my head. Leave it to Eve to be on death's door one moment and then ready to do some serious damage the next. "And now that I know basically where we are, I'll take you back so you can rest up and I'll get the guys."

She got to her feet and grabbed her pipe, murder prominent in her eyes. "Not on your life. Besides, I don't think that's necessary. Look."
