Listen to I'll be there by Jess Glynn.
I opened it and was welcomed by the lovely picture of myself and the only people that mattered to me in this world. I looked so huggable with round cheeks anyone would want to eat and pinch.
Bonding with my mother felt like they just lifted half the weight that was on my shoulders. Mother did everything she was asked to do in the hospital. Mother arranged for me to have a therapist and I groaned when I heard this.
Why did I have to attend those things?
We left the hospital in mother's car. We listened to songs and this don't worry, be happy started playing on the radio. Mother increased the volume and sang.
"Don't worry, be happy." She nodded her head to the rhythm of the music. "Come on, sing with me." She looked at me and returned her eyes on the road.
"I don't know it." I lied.
Listen to way down we go by Kaleo. Those days when I thought life was all rainbow and sunshine. I believed in fairytales and hoped to get a prince charming in shining armor that'd marry me and take me to his Castle on his horse. Fake!"Night night." I turned to leave for my room."Nicky?" Damon stopped me. "I heard about your dad, I'm sorry I couldn't make it to his funeral because-""It's okay." I cut him off to avoid showing emotions I tried to hide and hastily went to my room.Damon left very early in the morning before my mother and his got up. I was at the passenger's seat in mother's car, on our way to the therapist."Damon is in town." I announced to her dryly."Really? How did you know?""He was at our house."She gave me a confused look like I was speaking some fo
Listen to all we ever wanted by Klas Wahlstedt and per blomqvist."We're going to start again," he said calmly. "How often do you meet your friends?""Not very often, I don't really have friends." I started. "I have just one friend.""Make that two." He showed off some teeth."Two?""Yes, Emmet." He turned to the next page of the book he was holding. "Is there anyone you feel understands you and is very close to you? This question reminded me of my dad, causing clouds of tears to fill my eyes. I leaned back against the chair and tried my possible best to fight the tears from falling. The sober reality that my dad was gone stung my heart and it made me nothing, but devastated.Father held out a lollipop and dangled it in the air for me
Listen to rise up by Beyonce."Thanks." I gave Emmet a tight lipped smile, which he returned with a nod and a happy expression.I made a mental note to call Mr Philip to say thank you later. What a very nice man. I must say his therapy sessions helped me a lot. I mean, I was no longer the sad sack I used to be. He taught me how to control my triggers and told me self blame was never the answer. He made me read a lot of books, watch movies, sleep more, visit Melanie and Damon whenever he was around, he made me do exercises and I also wrote a lot about my feelings.Opening up to him helped me a lot, it lifted the grand piano that used to weigh my body down. The fist time he asked me to do those stuffs, it felt like hard work, but look at me now."Have a safe flight." Emmet poked my arm.Emmet Asa, that was the name he said his mother gave to him. I think the Emmet name is cu
Listen to said I loved you but I lied by Michael Bolton"Sorry." His voice sent lightening down my spine and struck me stiff. I never talked to anyone except Damon and u wasn't the type that enjoyed making new friends. He towered over me and blocked the sun from making contact with my skin. He sallied forth and stretched out his hand to me, but I stiffened. I wasn't used to touching other people."C'mon," he said. "Let me help you up."He pulled me up and I noticed he was wearing the same tank top with me, but the color was Ash."Thank you." I dusted my butt and picked my Pringles up."What's up buddy?" Damon approached us and shook hands with Logan.
Listen to we all want love by Rihanna. Please, let this be a lie. I closed my eyes and touched my hair, Remembering how I was in a haste after my bath. I groaned."Sorry, I have to go." I walked away from him and glanced at my Hublot wristwatch. It was seven fifty, ten more minutes before biology."Wait up!" Logan yelled and jogged towards me. "What happened to your shoes?" He pointed to my feet and my eyes followed his finger. My face flushed with heat.My eyes widened in shock and all I wanted was for the ground to open up and swallow me. I covered my face with my hands and felt like crying. What was wrong with me? How did I not know I wasn't wearing shoes? I even drove without them and didn't feel it. I hit my head repeatedly with my hands."Hey, take it easy. Here." He placed a black golazo men slippers in my hands. "Y
Listen to antisocial by Ed Sheeran and Travis Scot.It was a Monday morning and I hated Mondays. The blue sky was bespeckled with fleecy clouds that floated slothfully in the benign breeze.I walked hastily, humming a soundtrack from the movie, guardians of the galaxy. The humming stopped when I was in front of the library.I sat on a mahogany brown chair that had a place where I could rest my feet on. I flipped furiously through the pages of the book in my hands. This subject wasn't my favorite and I have to submit this thing tomorrow morning. My hands made their way to my temple and massaged it, feeling frustrated. If Damon was here, it would have-oh, I forgot Damon and I fought over something silly. He was being insensitive to me and said he preferred me to that jerk, Sophia. We avoided each other the whole of last week.I flipped faster and was interru
Listen to call me maybe by Carly Rae."Finally." I sighed when Logan came into sight. "What took you so long?""Sorry, I had to settle some stuffs." He sipped from a red plastic cup and handed me a bottle of water."Having fun?""Not really." I drank from the bottle and Logan sat on the arm of the couch. "It was fun to watch them play flip the cup." I pointed to where they still played a ridiculous game to get high."Wanna join them?""Hell no.""Okay, dance?" He stood up and offered me his hand."I don't dance." I shook my head and held on tight to the bottle."Do you want to play most likely?""I'll just watch.""C'mon stop being a fun sponge." He sat back on the couch arm. "Wall flower.""What did you say?" I asked and pressed my laps together, feeling
Listen to it must be love by Don Williams. "But I-" I stopped in my tracks and stared at the floor, wracking my brain for what I saw. I was very sure I saw someone. I was a little disappointed at myself for taking that shot and letting it mess with my head like this."Are you sure you're ok?""Yeah, I'm okay." I rested my weight on one leg and struggled to keep my eyes open."You should get some rest.""No, I'm fine. You were saying?""Rest princess." He took my right hand and placed a kiss on it, sending a strange sensation from the kissed area to my entire body.Princess? No one has ever called me that except for father. Why did he remind me of dad so much?He closed the door and left, leaving me still staring at the place he kissed with my jaw on the floor. Finally, I snapped back to reality and locked the door.
