I know that it's a long shot that he would be my mate, but I still have hope.Everything lately has been amaz
My eyes flutter open slowly as I hear my alarm going off. I groan softly before shutting the damn thing off. I sigh, standing up. Releasing a yawn I walk to my bathroom. Once finished I walk out and look at my alarm again.7:00am!I rush out the room before running to the next room."Trevor! Payton! Come on, we're going to be late..." I trail off as I see that both of them aren't there. I raise my brow in confusion before heading to the kitchen.I sigh in relief when I see the both of them, dressed and sitting by the table. They both look over at me and smile."Morning Mommy!" They chirp happily before continuing to play with their cars. I smile softly as I walk over to them and kiss both they're heads."Cereal or toast today?" I ask them and get two different answers. They both look over at each other and glare. Here we go."We had toast yesterday!
"Are you sure that this is a good idea?" Rob asks me as we sit in his office eating some lunch that I made for the both of us. Deciding against going to the cafè today, plus I needed to ask Rob for a favour."Please Rob, I really need you to do this for me.""I don't know Callie-""Oh come on Rob! You're always asking me out, and now that I ask you to be my date to my brothers wedding you 'Don't know'?" I say sarcastically before taking a bite of my sandwhich. He sighs and scratches behind his head."Alright, fine, but in no way am I getting involved with that ass of a father." I roll my eyes at him before nodding."Why should he care who I show up with? He has a wife, so he has no right to get upset. You'll be fine Rob, I promise." I say to him making him smile. We then continue to talk everything over before I stand up and head back to my office. At first I didn't want to show up
"Are you two ready?" I ask as we stand at the door. I check that they both have a jacket, and make sure that they have a toy for the trip. No one needs two bored little boys."Be right b-back Mommy." Payton says before rushing to the bathroom. I chuckle and help Trevor put his jacket on. I crouch down and pull the zip up. I fix it before kissing his head. Payton comes running back and I do his jacket next. I ask Trevor if he needs the bathroom but he declines."Alright, lets go." I say to them and they immediatly cheer. This will be the first time that they see my hometown, and will finally get to meet the entire family. So far they've only met Mom and Dad, Izzy and Theo. After I had left the place I called home, I went to England but missed America to much. So during my second year, I came back and eventually went to a University here. And in turn, met Rob.We climb into the car and make our way to the airport. It would take to lon
Adrian's POVFlashbackI stood there, letting my eyes roam around. She made everything perfect. Emily has always wanted a large wedding and who was I to deny her of that?I feel my hands shake nervously as everyone walks in and sits down. Taking a deep breath, I try to stop the shaking."You ready?"I hear my Best Man ask. I turn around and smile, seeing Theo standing there. It was a mission to get him to agree being my Best Man, but I can understand why. I hurt his sister and I will always hate myself for it but I made my decision, and I could not be more happier. I made the move to try and invite Callie to the wedding but Emily decided against it. I still sent her an invite though."As ready as I'll ever be." I say with a shaky smile. He smiles, patting my back before standing in his allocated spot. The Wedding March song begins, making e
Callie's POV"That went better than expected." I hear Izzy mutter under her breath as we all watch Adrian exit the kitchen. I look down at the boys and see them making small talk again, going on about one of their toys. If only they knew they just called their father, grandpa.
Callie's POV"Please Callie? It's just for a couple hours." Izzy whines as I dish up some lunch for the boys. I look up at her before sighing. Looking over at the boys, I see them drawing while sitting by the dinning table. I put the ingredients back into the fridge before turning back to her.
Adrian's POV"Now remember Adrian, always stand at attention, and no talking. Do I make myself clear?" Sir says, looking down at me. The eight year old me, nods before looking away from his permanent glare.
Trevors POV“You know this would be a lot easier if I didn’t have to drag you through this forest, kid.” I heard Gavin grumble for the umpteenth time. I continued to ignore him, not having the fight in me to argue or frankly do anything. All I could think about was the look in Evie’s eyes, the pure fear and sadness. I broke our promise. Mom had always told me that a promise is special, that no matter what you would do everything in your power to honour it. And yet here we were, Gavin dragging me through the forest while I wallowed in pity over losing Evie. I didn’t know her long, that was true, but she was the first friend I had made completely on my own without the help of Payton. Plus, when we got to talking, she kind of reminded me of him as well. I lost him once, now I felt like I lost him again.I wish we hadn’t come here; I wish we had just stayed where we were. Payt
Trevor's POVI lost track of how long I had been here. Days turned into nights; nights turned into days. There was no window in the dungeons for me to know. The only time I ever got to see even artificial light is when Gavin came down with those two scary men, who I still hadn't learnt the names of; along with the evil lady and Rob. Those two rarely visited me though. Everyday I would receive a beating, making me wish that they would just end it, that the
Trevor's POV"Mommy! Daddy!" I yelled out to her, watching as everyone tried to push past an invisible force that held them back away from all of us. I continued trying to escape the man's tight grip, kicking and screaming for my parents. I didn't like these people, they were evil. Just as I began screaming out to my parents once again, a bright light washed over us and my family was gone.
Everyone was rooted to the spot as Will's mate cried, trying to wake him up, even though all her efforts were futile. It was clear to see that Will's neck had been snapped. I turned and looked over to Skylar, tears were streaming down her cheeks as she collapsed to the ground. I understood her pain to an extent. Even though Troy had tried killing me and took my position as Alpha of my pack, he was like my brother. Just like Theo and I, we both had known each other since we were pups."Can't you
"I'd do anything to please my mate." He said with a smirk on his lips, wrapping an arm around her waist and bringing her close to his chest. He kissed her before pulling back and looking back over to Callie. I wanted to tear him apart, I wanted to rip off each and every limb. How could someone do this to our children? They were innocent, they didn't deserve what they were going through. My little Payton didn't deserve to be taken away so early. Now seeing Trevor cry in terror, tears falling down his cheeks, I wanted nothing more than to kill all of them with my bare hands.
Callies POVI couldn't even begin to explain my confusion as I stared at the men in front of me. Adrian stood tall, with his head held high, as did his father. They resembled each other in every single way, except I knew that Adrian cared for his children. Looking around, everyone here all had a glare set on Adrian. It didn't seem to phase him. He stood there, no emotions on his face.
Callie's POVDid he really do this? Was Adrian truly capable of killing Payton?
Adrians POVCallie jumped at me, ready to tear my throat out. Luckily I was quick enough to catch her, wrapping my arms around her tightly and she pounded onto my chest. She tried reaching up but her arms were stuck between our chests.
Adrian's POV"You better start explaining what happened to my grandson." Sky spoke sternly, her glare fixed on Troy. He gulped, looking up at her nervously. It had been over an hour since the doctor said Payton would be alright. How could someone have done this to him? He's just a little kid.
