40: Green Is A Good Color On The Cavill's

Xavier opened the fridge and just stared inside without lifting a finger. He knew he wanted to fetch a bottle of water, but he couldn't bring himself to loosen his deathly grip on the fridge door. For some reason, hearing Stephen admit that the reason he hooked up with him in the first place was because he looked like his old lover, stung. Xavier now understood why the man froze when they bumped into each other outside Theo's mansion.

He doesn't know how long he stood there, but the next thing he knew was Stephen circling his hands around his waist. “What's wrong?” Stephen felt stupid for asking that question as soon as the words fell out of his mouth. “You can't seriously be mad at me,” he rasped, rubbing his face on Xavier's back.

“I am not mad, Stephen.” Xavier retorted, turning and stepped out of the man's arms. “Just surprised.” He closed the fridge without even taking the water and leaned on it. “Would you have told me?” Stephen shook his head.

“There was nothing to tell,”
