STOP BEING SO CREEPY

Both Isabella and Angelo badly hoped that it wouldn't rain. Isabella remained on the floor while Angelo sat on the other side of the fire observing her.

After a while, she sat up and said, "I feel very hungry and thirsty." Angelo realized that since they had coconuts in the morning, they hadn't eaten anything else as they had both been carried away by their predicament.

"I'll get the coconuts," he said while feeling grateful that they now had a knife. He took it to the water and washed as much as he could before breaking the coconuts on the rocks one after the other and sharing the water with Isabella.

He took out the copra with the knife and handed some of it to Isabella while saying, "now, we at least get to chew like human beings."

As she accepted the coconut and began eating, Isabella prayed silently that it wouldn't rain because if it did and her wound became wet, the pain in her arm would be unbearable.
