"He has not been a bad leader after all, even though he's still that cruel, heartless pack of ice I've always known," my inner voice dripped with admiration. My lips turned downward, and I nodded my head as I took in the sight before me.

I noticed the once rocky and rough roads were now smothered and overlaid with marbles, not just in his courtyard. The streets had tiled roads as well, unlike what I had remembered.

I had always disliked coming to his pack because the black trail of my gown always got smeared with dust every time I visited, despite how careful I was.

"Fall in!" The one that had commented on my skin earlier ordered, and the two ladies scrambled together at his voice. They were clearly scared.

As expectedof lowly Omegas, the fear in their faces was undeniable, but how could I, Xenra, be told what to do and what not to?

A snort of derision escaped my nostrils at my thoughts, and I rolled my eyes, maintaining my stance.
