Chapter 5

Lixue couldn’t sleep, her mind racing with the memory of the kiss she had shared with Raiden’s son.

Frustrated, she shouted, “Ahhhhh….” and stormed out of her room, her wings flapping as she descended the veranda.

Upstairs, Lixue used her power to effortlessly enter the grand, gilded door.

Shuji, startled by a loud crash, awoke from his bed and quickly got dressed.

Leaving his room, he descended the stairs and called the maids.

“Did you hear that crash?” Shuji inquired, his voice tinged with concern.

“No, sir,” the maid replied, shaking her head.

“Are you certain? I distinctly heard a crash.” Shuji pressed, his curiosity piqued.

Shuji headed to the kitchen, intending to get a drink from the refrigerator, but accidentally spilled the water.

Returning to his room, he lay back on his bed, pondering the source of the crash.

Meanwhile, Lixue knelt before the person revered by people worldwide.

“I apologize, Father, and I made a mistake that shouldn’t have occurred,” Lixue expressed, addressing the father she called.

“Life is unpredictable, my son, whether you’re immortal or mortal. Even I have made mistakes, but I forgave me. You have a mission with him, destined to do what he needs you to do. And you and your future child have a mission in the world.” The father spoke sincerely to Lixue.

“I broke the prophecy you entrusted to me. Father forgives me, and I will follow the new prophecy you’ve given me,” Lixue said, bowing her head in acknowledgment.

“Stand up, my angel. You didn’t commit any sin or wrongdoing. You simply made a mistake, thinking it would take longer.” The father reassured her.

“Does Father know about this? Our Father?” Lixue asked, her curiosity piqued, and she fluttered her wings in anticipation.

“Yes, he knew long before your mother and sister passed away that such events would occur, even if we couldn’t have imagined them. You would bestow power upon two individuals who should have been long gone.” The father explained, his gaze fixed on her.

“I’m sorry, Father. I can’t bear the thought of losing them so soon. So, I gave them my power to live. But I have a question. Are they still alive in a few years?” Lixue asked her father, standing before him.

“You’ll meet your mother and sister in due course,” the father replied to Lixue.

“If that’s the case with my father’s second wife, does that mean our father is destined to meet her as well?” Lixue asked again.

Lixue’s talking father smiled meaningfully. Lixue bid farewell to her father and flew down to the ground. Upon reaching her godfather Raiden’s house, she hid on the roof when she noticed a maid outside.

“It’s noon, but it’s still early in the morning upstairs,” Lixue could tell the time of the different worlds when the maids noticed her landing in her room.

Shuji looked to the side when he heard another crash.

He recalled his date with his girlfriend, Erika.

“Aw!” a voice shouted.

“Leatrice? What’s wrong with you there?” Shuji called out, determined to find the source of the thump.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine, damn it! It’s my fault that I fell, and my butt hurts,” Lixue grumbled to herself, realizing she was still naked. She quickly grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around her body.

“Leat-ow! Sorry, I’ll just come out first,” Shuji exclaimed, surprised to see Lixue’s naked body.

“Wait! Help me get up because I slipped,” Lixue pleaded, looking at Shuji.

“I’ll call someone else to help you,” Shuji said, leaving the front of Lixue’s room.

“Please! I don’t want them to see me like this because it’s wet…” Lixue apologized, annoyed.

“Alright,” Shuji said, approaching and holding Lixue’s arm to help her stand up properly.

“Thank you!” Lixue said, holding Shuji’s shoulder as she almost lost his balance again.

Shuji helped Lixue sit on the bed before he left.

“Why? I got hot and was electrified by him,” Shuji thought to himself, walking to their house.

Shuji drove to the restaurant where he was meeting his girlfriend. While driving, he received a call from her using a Bluetooth headset. He answered the call on his cellphone.

Calling…

Erika (Darling): Darling?

Shuji: Where are you?

Erika (Darling): I’ll ask you, where have you been? I’m already waiting for you here at the restaurant.

Shuji: Sorry, darling. I’m going there.

Erika (Darling): Did something happen to you? You’re always asking me where I am.

Shuji: I was just thinking, darling.

Erika (Darling): Can you ignore whatever you’re thinking? First, we have a date, oh…

Shuji: Yes, and I love you.

Erika (Darling): I love you too. Be careful when you drive.

Erika called her boyfriend on her cellphone. She was already impatiently waiting for him.

Erika sighed after talking to her boyfriend. When Shuji arrived at the restaurant, he found his girlfriend frowning. He immediately sat down opposite her and ordered something for them to eat.

After a few minutes,

Lixue called the maids and ordered them to rub her back because she was in pain when she moved.

“Manang, send me food here in my room and buy me a painkiller—here is my money. Thank you, it’s really sick,” Lixue said to the maid.

“Send you to the hospital, miss Leatrice. Maybe there’s something behind you.” The maid replied when she noticed something in Lixue’s back.

“If the pain persists tomorrow, I’ll use this power and send you to the hospital,” Lixue informed the maid, who had already taken them out of her room.

After lunch, Shuji and Erika headed straight to a hotel. They checked in and entered the elevator, where they shared a kiss.

Upon reaching their room, they didn’t break their kiss and hurriedly stripped off their clothes. They locked eyes, and Shuji drew his naked body closer to his girlfriend.

“Ughhh…” Erika murmured as she felt her boyfriend’s manhood in her.

Shuji took his girlfriend and laid her down on the bed.

“Why? The taste of my kiss with Erika changed. I was seeking something unique, but now it’s vanished,” Shuji thought to himself.

“I just went somewhere, ninong. I’ll be more careful next time,” Lixue said as she bid farewell after providing the initial details about guarding his son.

Lixue proceeded to her room and noticed a gap in the door of Shuji’s room. She noticed him getting dressed and promptly left when he turned to look at her. Lixue immediately went to bed and fell asleep.
