"Babe? He called. My hands were wrapped around his back now close to his neck as he continued going in and out so slowly that I didn't fell much pain again, only pleasure and ecstasy.

"Ye..s" I replied.

"I want you to open your eyes, and look at me" He said kissing me quickly on my eyes, my eye lashes fluttering as I opened them lazily.

"They are more beautiful when open" He isaid. I wondered how he managed to talk audibly. I wouldn't finish a sentence without breaking of in this condition. And he started to shake and breath heavily and I could almost hear his heart beat fastly and widely and I feel his muscles tighten as I laid beneath him.

And then he quickly pulled it out collapsing beside me. He laid quietly beside me without saying any word, his right leg on top of mine. After some minutes I shut my eyes thinking about what happened which was like a dream to me.

I pushed his leg slowly out of mine as I climbed out of the bed. I headed straight to the bathroom, closin

I came back to the hostel around five o'clock pm in the evening. I had waited almost all day for the heavy rain to seize and it was still drizzling before I started coming back to the hostel.I was not feeling very fine, not that I was feeling sick or having a stomach ache, but I was just moody. It was unlike me to be upset for no particular reason but that was the way I felt this evening. Perhaps it was because Daniel had travelled earlier, leaving me alone, or it was just a normal mood swing that happened to ladies few times.Daniels mother had called him in the morning today again, reminding him to come home. I almost felt like crying when he had packed and left, leaving me alone in the house. It was not like it was the first time we were parting from each other but it just felt different and I haven't been in a good mood since then although he had called from time to time informing me about the journey or where he was at that particular time. As I got to the room, I pushed the

Waking up the next day, I saw a text on my phone and about four missed call. It was from my elder sister Sarah. Even though we talked very much on WhatsApp and talked to each other on video call anytime we were online, we seldomly called each other unless it was about something urgent.Going through the message, she asked how I was doing and when I would be through with my exams. At the last part of the message she pleaded with me to go to church this coming Sunday and make sure I put our mom in prayers because she was diagnosed with kidney failure. I couldn't believe my eyes so I read the message out afresh to make sure it was correct and I wasn't just seeing things. Was this a kind of prank? I thought reading the message again. I looked at the today's date, and it was not first of April because that was when people played some expensive prank. But even if it was a prank, she wouldn't have used mom. Clicking on the call log, I dialled her number to call, but it was switched off. I

The alarm on my phone rang and I woke up immediately to get ready for my exam. It was finally the day for the last paper I had to take this semester. I brushed my teeth and prepared. The exam was to start by eight o'clock Am in the morning. I had revised this particular course many times so I didn't bother about glancing through it this morning. After taking my bath, dressing up and eating, I took my biro, pencil and sharpener and some important things I would need to show the invigilators in the exam Hall. My eligibility slip was one of them, because we haven't been given any students identification card yet, apart from the normal departmental card.I switched off my phone before dropping it back in the cupboard. Nobody would call me anyway, even Daniel had seemed to forget about me since he left.Since that last time he called me to inform me that he had almost gotten him, we have never spoken on phone, and I haven't heard from him, and when I called his number, it was always

I got to home around four thirty's Pm in the evening. I was almost stranded at the park before I saw someone who lived around my neighbourhood and he was generous enough to take me home before going where had been going to, before he saw me.The robbers had taken everything from me including all the money I had with me and if not for the man who saw me at the park, I might have gone around begging for money for transport, or better still looked for someone that'll lend me a cellphone to call anyone at home. What annoyed me most was my cellphone. Next month would make it one year Dad had gotten it for me. It was a Samsung, and he had gotten it for me when I had gotten admission into the university. I would have to retrieve the the number later so people who had the number could contact me again, if not, I would loose contact with them till I meet them to collect it in person again. The mistake I made was not backing up my contacts in my Gmail like I had wanted to. I totally for

I woke up not until ten o'clock Pm the next morning feeling very blessed and happy. I had actually slept so well like a baby last night, but the main reasons I woke up late was due to yesterday's journey and all the stress that came with it.I was really tired that I didn't know it was ten o'clock that I woke up until I looked at the wall clock which kept ticking endlessly.I was even going to sleep longer if my little sis had not woken me up as she kept jumping on the bed. Then I remembered they mom was coming home today and we had to prepare something special for her, like we always do. The weather was so bright and also sunny and one would think it was already tweve o'clock pm without looking at the clock or wrist watch. I claimed out of the bed stretching and yawning loudly. I searched for my phone on the table and to play my morning affirmations but I could not find it. Just then, I remembered yesterday and how i was robbed of it. I swore hitting the table with all the streng

It was not only about the period I missed last month. I had actually missed my period before now and when I had seen a doctor and after the test, he said it was because of an infection. He further explained that one could miss her menstruation because of a change in hormone or because of an infection, and after that he had given me a drug to take. I had been sixteen then. I was worried about it but that was actually not the main reason I was worried and scared. I was scared because of the constant cravings I had for food I never liked eating before, the feeling of fatigue after doing any little work or no work at all and the feeling of nausea every now and then.I always felt like throwing up and I didn't have already treated malaria and typhoid, and all these reminded me of nothing else but symptoms of pregnancy. There was no way I could be pregnant. I didn't want to even think about it one bit or believe it. Daniel had actually made love to me twice, but he had been very caref

"Dress up, we are going to the hospital. We won't let anyone know where we are going" She replied."But I thought we could use pregnancy test kit to check" I said. That was what boolu usually used in the room and she didn't bother going to the hospital."I want to be so sure and clear about this. One of my roommates in two hundred level then said that she had actually used that before and it was negative and after one week she discovered that she was actually pregnant. I didn't know that could happen, until she told me, so I want to be very certain, but we would still get the kit too" She replied. Then I took my bath hurriedly and changed dressed up.Sister Prisca lied to mom and that that we were going to the mall when they asked where we were going. After some days, the hospital also confirmed that I was pregnant. One month and three weeks pregnant. I was still very shocked even though I was expecting it. My stomach was actually still very flat and it was almost two months old.Mom had even started to complain that we really needed to go to the hospital because I wasn't looking very good to her and I looked sick. I refused telling her that was okay and in the other hand thinking of how to break the news to her. She would be very upset and I felt very bad to know I have really let her down. "Good evening" I greeted casually taking a seat."Good evening too" He replied clearing his throat."Please go straight to the point, I don't have time" I said crossing my legs."How impatient you have become" He muttered rubbing his forehead like he always does when he was nervous. What he told me really shocked me. He talked about how his phone had been stolen the day he got home and how he had lost my contact. He talked about how he had received it after some weeks and expected my calls or text but never saw them. Then when school had resumed then he had gone back to school. And after some weeks he had expected me to visit him at least even though I never called but he never saw any sign of me.He said that after some months Martha had come to his place unexpectedly and told him that I had an accident and died in the process back at home. I couldn't believe my ears. I didn't believe him at first but then he asked me to call Martha myself and confirm it in his front. He said she had

It has been almost five years now since I had my baby and she was all grown up now. Everything had been moving very fine until she started asking me about her dad. That had happened when I came to pick her from schools. She had asked me why dad never picked her from school, stating that her friends dad always did so. I had assured her that one day, her dad would come back from were he had traveled to and wouldn't go leave her again, and that seemed to work as she stopped disturbing me about it.She was four years and five months old now but talked and reasoned like an adult sometimes, it really marveled me and people always says that she looked bigger than her age.I could say I was a successful woman now as I owned five big and well known eateries in five different states which I named after me and had some less privileged children studying on scholarship in different schools in my name. Finally after four months and some weeks I entered into labour. It was on a weekend and fortunately Anabelle was around. I was immediately rushed to the hospital where I delivered a baby girl.Going into labour and delivering was really the one thing I dreaded most. I had told a nurse about that and how I feared that I might not survive it and she had assured me that I could bear it and after all the pains I would go through the joy of seeing the child would take them all away. That was really what had happened. At a time I thought I might even die as I couldn't bear the pain anymore but when I saw the face of the child, my child, the pain vanished and I became unconscious. Apart from the pains I pass through while pushing, there was no complications.I didn't know I had passed out until I woke up. I had been cleaned up now and I felt better. It was a beautiful weekend. Anabelle had decided to accompany me to the boutique to buy some clothes and other things I needed. After bathing and dressing up we left for the boutique."This boutique sells good clothes at affordable price, not like those ones that put too much profit on their dresses" Anabelle said as we entered the boutique. It was filled with different people who had also come to buy clothes or hand bags. After getting some clothes a nightie and some other stuffs I needed we paid for it and left for the house. Anabelle also got herself some clothes, ripped jeans and some gowns. There was traffic on the road and we stayed in the bus longer than we were supposed to. I almost vomited there as the smell of the bus made me feel like throwing up but I held myself. Finally we were home. Anabelle wanted to make fried rice so I assisted her in cutting the carrots and cabbages as she washed and boiled the chicken we were going to cook it with."Do you like it boiled or fried"

I didn't know why I was becoming too emotional these days and could cry at any slighted thing. I looked down at my stomach, rubbing it gently and forcing myself not to break down and cry.
