Kaida’s POV

The air was sharp with the scent of pine and damp earth as we moved silently through Oakwood’s territory. Each step brought us closer to Alpha Logan’s camp. I tightened my grip on the blade strapped to my thigh, my heartbeat steady despite the tension thrumming through the group.

Atlas led the charge, his movements silent and deliberate. “Stay sharp,” he murmured, his voice low but firm. “This needs to be fast and clean. No mistakes.”

I nodded, signaling to Axel, who flanked my left. Our target was Logan’s supply depot—a critical weak point. If we could destroy it, we’d cut off their resources and weaken their forces.

The southern entrance was poorly guarded, just as our scouts had reported. Two guards patrolled lazily, their attention more on the quiet night than on potential threats.

Axel signaled to me. I nodded, crouching low as we crept forward. In one synchronized motion, Axel and I dispatched the guards, their bodies crumpling silently to the ground.

Kaida’s POV The packhouse was alive with tension the morning after the attack on Oakwood’s territory. Warriors moved with purpose, sharpening blades, mending armor, and exchanging whispers about the success of our ambush. Despite the lingering adrenaline, I knew this was only a temporary victory. Atlas stood at the war room table, his hands braced against the map spread before him. His expression was unreadable, but the furrow in his brow betrayed his thoughts. “They’ll retaliate,” he said, his voice steady but edged with determination. I nodded, stepping closer. “And they’ll come at us harder. Logan won’t let this go unanswered.” Atlas looked up, his eyes locking with mine. “We need to prepare for the next move. I want to hit them again before they can regroup.” I hesitated. “Another attack? So soon?” “Yes,” Atlas said firmly. “We have the momentum. If we wait, they’ll rebuild, and Logan will use this time to strengthen his alliances.” I couldn’t argue with his logic. Striki

Kaida’s POV The battlefield was a chaotic storm of snarls, growls, and the clash of blades. Crescent Moon warriors fought with ferocity, meeting Logan’s forces head-on at the eastern border. The air was thick with the metallic scent of blood and the cries of wolves locked in combat. Atlas’s voice carried over the noise as he commanded the warriors, his presence a pillar of strength. But despite our efforts, Logan’s forces pressed hard, their numbers relentless. “We’re holding,” Axel shouted, cutting through a rogue with a swift strike. “But not for long!” My chest burned with frustration. This fight was dragging on, and every second cost us more lives. Logan’s pack was too coordinated, their tactics too precise. Then I saw him—Alpha Logan. He stood at the edge of the battle, barking orders to his warriors, his presence like a shadow over the battlefield. My vision tunneled. I could feel the fury rising within me, an unrelenting force that burned brighter with every passing mome

Kaida’s pov In the war room, Atlas stood at the head of the table, his gaze locked on the maps and plans before him. Axel and Jace flanked him, their discussions focused on tracking Logan before he could rebuild. “We have to move quickly,” Jace said. “Logan fled, but we all know he’ll regroup. Shadowfang is still a threat.” Atlas nodded. “We’ll gather our scouts and—” The heavy slam of the war room door interrupted him, and a sharp voice cut through the room like a blade. “Atlas!” We turned as Lady Seraphina entered, her imposing presence silencing the room. Her silver hair gleamed under the lantern light, and her piercing blue eyes held a fury I wasn’t prepared for. “Grandma,” Atlas said, stepping forward. “This isn’t a good time—” “Be silent,” she snapped, her tone brooking no argument. “I’ve had enough of this madness.” Her gaze landed on me, and her lips curled into a sneer. “And you. This is all you're doing.” Her words hit like a slap, and I felt my claws flex instinc

Kaida’s POV The echoes of the warriors’ howls faded into the night, but the storm Seraphina had left behind still raged inside me. I had fought for this pack. Bled for it. And yet, I was still the villain in their eyes. Atlas’s grip on my shoulder was steady, grounding me, but the weight of Seraphina’s words still clung to me like a shadow. "Your presence alone has endangered everyone here." I clenched my fists. No. The only danger here was those who sought to control me, to use my power for their own purposes. I wasn’t the cause of destruction—I was the weapon they feared losing control over. And I refused to be anyone’s pawn. That night, sleep refused to come. I sat by the window of my room, staring at the moon as if it held the answers I desperately needed. Logan was planning something, and whatever it was, it wouldn’t be small. I had been fighting battles since the day I stepped foot in Crescent Moon, and yet, it felt like I was no closer to winning the war.

Kaida’s POV Smoke filled the air, thick and suffocating. The once-proud Crescent Moon Packhouse stood in ruins, its walls crumbling, the banners of our ancestors torn and stained with blood. The scent of burning wood mixed with the metallic tang of war, and all around me, wolves lay injured, their bodies battered and broken. This was my fault. I clenched my fists as I stepped over the fallen debris, my chest tight with regret. I had come back here thinking I could make a difference. That I could fight for a pack that never truly saw me as one of them. But instead, I had led destruction right to their doorstep. Logan. Miguel. Akira. They had all used me as a pawn in their twisted game, and now the ones suffering for it were the very wolves I had tried to protect. I had to find Atlas. I searched the battlefield, dodging fallen beams and sidestepping unconscious warriors as I moved through the wreckage. Every step made my heart pound harder, the weight of my decisions pressing dow

Kaida’s POV The air was thick with the scent of blood, ash, and loss as I moved through the remnants of Crescent Moon’s territory. The battle had ended, but the war was far from over. The injured were being tended to, families were mourning their dead, and despite the destruction, life carried on. I should have left already. But there was still one more thing I needed to do. I searched for them—my family, the only ones I had left. Axel and my father. They had fought alongside Atlas’s warriors, protecting the Crescent Moon Pack even when they didn’t have to. But now that the battle was over, I needed them to leave with me. I couldn’t stay here. Not after everything. Not after the pack had lost so much because of me. I found them near the eastern field, where many of the warriors had gathered to rest and recover. Axel stood tall, his face grim as he spoke to one of the Crescent Moon warriors, helping coordinate supplies. Our father, Alpha Thor, sat nearby, his sharp eyes assess

  • My warrior mate's forbidden desire   Chapter 78

Atlas’s POV The scent of ash and blood still lingered in the air, a painful reminder of everything we had lost. The warriors had done their best to clear the wreckage, to patch up the wounded, but no amount of effort could erase the devastation that had swept through our home. I stood on the balcony of the temporary packhouse, watching Kaida from afar. She was tireless. Unyielding. A force of nature in her own right. In the days following the battle, she had worked harder than anyone, overseeing the rebuilding efforts, tending to the injured, ensuring that no task was left undone. She didn’t complain, didn’t falter. But I saw the weight she carried. I saw the exhaustion she tried to hide, the way her shoulders stiffened whenever she thought no one was looking. Kaida had stayed, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that part of her was already gone. And I needed to know—where did that leave us? I found her near the remains of the old war room, kneeling on the ground with a

Atlas’s POV The air was thick with tension, the weight of what was to come pressing heavily on my shoulders. I sat at the head of the war table, staring at the map spread before us. Kaida stood beside me, her eyes sharp with determination. Across from us, her father, Dominic, and her brother, Axel, exchanged knowing glances. Miguel’s threat still lingered in my mind, his words burned into my memory. "You can rebuild all you want. But we will burn it down again." He thought he had the upper hand. He thought we were weak. But he had no idea what was coming for him. Kaida’s voice was steady as she traced a path along the map. “Miguel expects us to retaliate immediately. He thinks we’ll storm his territory in anger, desperate for revenge.” Axel nodded, arms crossed. “Which is exactly why we won’t.” Thor leaned forward, studying the map. “We’ll strike when they least expect it. But first, we gather intelligence. We need to know their numbers, their weaknesses, and any potential a

Atlas’s POV The sun rose over Crescent Moon, its golden light bathing the bloodstained battlefield** in an eerie glow. For the first time in weeks, the air was silent. No growls. No screams. No sounds of war. Just… silence. And yet, my body remained tense. Because this wasn’t over. Not yet. I stood on the balcony of the packhouse, overlooking the aftermath. **Scattered bodies** of fallen rogues lay across the courtyard, some already being removed by our warriors. The scent of smoke and blood still clung to the wind. Crescent Moon had survived. But at what cost? A part of me should have felt victorious. We had fought. We had won. Silas had been forced to retreat. And yet, as I watched the warriors move through the rubble, tending to the wounded, I didn’t feel victorious. I felt… exhausted. Drained in a way that had **nothing to do with battle wounds. Because Silas was still out there. And deep down, I knew he would return. A warm **hand touched my shoulder**,

Rex’s POV The scent of burning wood and blood filled my lungs as the courtyard erupted into chaos. The welcome party had transformed into a battlefield within minutes, and I knew immediately this wasn’t random. This was coordinated. Planned. My claws sank into the throat of the rogue in front of me, the crunch of bone sharp beneath my grip. I threw the lifeless body aside, my golden eyes scanning the battlefield. Where was Piper? The moment the attack started, my wolf had gone insane, demanding we find her. And when I finally spotted her, A snarl tore through my throat. She was surrounded. Three rogues circled her, their growls **low and taunting. Piper’s emerald dress was torn, the fabric stained with blood some of it hers, most of it theirs.** She stood her ground, her breath heavy but steady. And in one swift movement, she sidestepped, dodging the attack before **plunging her claws into his chest. He dropped like a stone. The other two hesitated.

Kaida’s POV Laughter still echoed through the air as the celebration continued, but my focus was elsewhere. The figure in the shadows had vanished, but the unease in my chest remained. I knew peace wouldn’t last forever. **It never did.** I glanced at Atlas, who was laughing at something Axel had said, his golden eyes alight with happiness. I wanted him to have this. I wanted all of us to have this. But something was coming. And I could feel it like a storm on the horizon. As the party stretched into the late hours of the night, I decided to step away from the crowd, letting the cool night air clear my mind. The packhouse loomed in the distance, lanterns flickering against the walls. And then, just as I reached the gardens— A voice whispered from the darkness. “He’s watching." I froze, my heart slamming against my ribs. Slowly, I turned, my wolf threatening to come out when she sensed danger. "Who’s there?" I demanded, my wolf stirring uneasi

Kaida’s POV As the sky keeps getting darker it felt like **forever, things were peaceful. No wars. No betrayals. No bloodshed. Just **laughter, music, and the promise of a new beginning.** And at the center of it all? **Piper and Rex.** I never thought I’d say this, but… I was **happy for them.** Even though Rex was a possessive, arrogant, hot-headed Alpha who needed serious **social training**, I could tell he **genuinely wanted** to keep Piper by his side. And as much as Piper **pretended to fight it**, I had seen the way she looked at him when she thought no one was watching. As if, despite everything, **she was starting to want him too.** I stood behind Piper in my bedroom, carefully adjusting the fabric of her dress as she stared at herself in the mirror. Her expression was **unreadable**, her hands fidgeting slightly at her sides. "Okay, what’s that face for?" I asked, tilting my head. Piper sighed. "This just feels… weird." I arched a brow. "Weird how

Piper’s POV I had **imagined** what meeting my mate would be like. I thought it would be **soft. A slow, gradual understanding. A connection that bloomed with time, built on mutual respect. I never imagined being **dragged across the packhouse, locked in a room, and pinned against the wall by a furious Alpha with golden eyes burning into mine.** But here we were, caged in the arms of a dangerous alpha. "You’re not leaving this room," he said, his voice **low, unyielding**. • My warrior mate's forbidden desire   Chapter 94

Rex’s POVWalking through Crescent Moon’s territory felt strange. It was both **familiar** and **foreign**, like the echoes of a past I had long been forced to forget. I passed the old training grounds, where Atlas and I had sparred as pups. The scent of pine and damp earth filled my nostrils, pulling me deeper into lost memories—ones I had buried beneath years of war and vengeance. But before I could sink further into the past, **something changed.** A scent. **Sweet. Addictive. Intoxicating.** My wolf **snapped to attention** so fast it nearly made me stumble. *Mate.* The word slammed through my mind like a bolt of lightning. *Mate. Mate. Let’s go to mate!* A growl rumbled in my chest as my instincts took over, leading me through the winding pathways of the packhouse.
